One Shot: Reunited

"P-please, you must remember." You pleaded to the spiky haired blonde in front of you, grasping onto his hand. 

"I-I-I'm sorry I don't know you." He stuttered, still confused about the position he was currently in. He had spotted you nearby and asked you if you had seen his friend Terra, but he never expect you to turn around and tackle him into a hug. After asking if he knew you, tears began to spill. It had been some time since you saw your friend Ventus, now he's right in front of you. He left to train under a person named Xehanort, but you never saw him again, until now. 

He had been your best friend for as long as you can remember and you developed a crush on him. Everyday you spent with him your feelings for him only grew stronger. Your feelings for him never changed after all this time you two have spent apart from each other. 

"Ven..You're my best friend, please." You begged. Your legs gave in, as you begin to fall Ventus catches you with your head inches from hitting the ground. You felt his arms pull you back up to your feet and you pull back from him so you can stand on your own two feet. He still had that same confused look, but was now mixed with concern as well. 

"Y-you really don't remember?" you asked asked as you made eye contact with him. The hope that you once had began to fade from your eyes. The eyes that you fell in love with no longer recognized you. 

"W-what about your wrist band? Do you remember where you got it?" You asked as you took his hand and guided his arm up in the middle of the two of you with his checkered wrist band on it. You had given it to him before he left. It's a small gift, but he seemed over the moon with it.

An expression of pain crossed his face. He placed his free hand on his forehead as you held the other, and he let  out a small groan as he closed his eyes. He looked back at you and his blue eyes met your (Eye Colour) ones. You stared in his cobalt blue eyes searching for a look of familiarity. He disconnects his hand from your embrace taking a step back. 

"I-I'm sorry (Name), but I have to go, i'm looking for my friend." He said looking down with his voice just above a whisper. Though the hurt didn't show, but the pain still grows.

"Maybe you have me mistaken for someone else" He said as  he turned away and began to walk in the opposite direction. The hope that rested in your eyes began to return and a cute half smile rests on your face. You quickly run trying to catch up to him and stop in front of him. His eyes widen as you hug him.  His thoughts stop as he feels your head move from his shoulders to his head. Your lips slightly brush his ear as you whisper to him. 

"I never told you my name." 

He felt a sharp pain in his head, he rests his hand on his forehead once more. He hisses due to the pain. Memories began to flood his mind. He tightens the hug and tears of joy began to build behind his eyes. You pull back slightly to see his face and an expression of surprise spreads across your face as you see the smile he was giving you with tears beginning to stream down his face.

"I missed you (Name)" He says leaning his forehead against yours and pulling you closer to him. Suddenly he tilts your head slightly, he looks deeply into your eyes and the gap between you slowly closed as his lips met yours. Your eyes widen once again as you look at Ven's closed eyes. You feel your face begin to overwhelm with blush. Once the shock had passed your eyes flutter shut and you kiss back. Your hands held on to his shirt not wanting to let go. It felt as if time had stopped, it felt as if the kiss would last forever. The connection between both your lips separated for air. Pulling back you hear him chuckle. 

"Open your eyes silly." Once your eyes open his deep blue eyes met your (Eye colour) ones.

"Ven, why did you-" He had cut you off and you shown your smile once more. 

"I may have just remembered, but I've always love you (Name"
