It is people like you
that aid society in degrading others,
promoting racism, supporting sexism,
and continually stripping people of the rights of life.
It is people like you
that make this world hurtful and cold.
Don't you realize the power of words?
It is people like you
That use your words
to pull people down to raise yourself up.
Your words have the power to take a life.
It is people like you
that deny others
the right of being themselves.
I am treated like scum
and stuck in the cages of labels
because of people like you.
We cannot live in a world of equality
Because of people like you.
