I like to think that we are like the stars.
We each have an individual light,
And some may be brighter than others,
Like our impacts on the world can vary.
We meet people, fall in love with them,
And then maybe we even fall out of love,
But with each friendship and relationship,
We connect to form constellations.
We even burn out and die like stars.
And when we go out with a bang,
Our light can be seen from a million miles away.
And our souls leave behind a light,
A radiant light in this dark, dark world
Even when our heart no longer beats.
