Chapter 6: Franklin

(Sonja's POV)

*** Ok, we're still in Its_Lee_'s one-shot world, and we're still in it at the end of this chapter. Again, it'll be near identical until the next chapter, where I changed a decently large portion.***

During the night, I had a really horrible nightmare. My mind just kept replaying the scene of that girl sitting in Tucker's lap, while he smiled and held her even closer. '"Didn't mean anything" my a**.' I woke up, and started to cry again. I figured, that since Jordan's room was in the basement, that he wouldn't hear me. But he did.

"Sonja?" He asked from the door. I swiftly wiped away the tears, and tried to look decently normal. It was still dark in the room, so I couldn't see him, and luckily he couldn't see me.

"Y-Yeah?" 'Damn it, stutter. So much for seeming fine.' There was silence. I heard the door close, and footsteps fading away. 'He left. He just left. Gods, I'm such a bother. No doubt he's sick of me already.' I pulled the soft covers over my head again and cried as quietly as possible. For the first time in a while, it felt nice to cry. To just let everything out that I'd been holding in.

I heard the door open again, but I didn't hear anything come in. "Jordan?" I asked the darkness. No answer. 'Did someone break in?' I pulled the covers off my head just a pit, so that I could see better. Nothing. It was so dark, that I couldn't even see the bed I was laying in. Just as I was about to get up and check the room, I felt something warm and slimey attack my cheek. "Ahh! What the-?!" My screaming was interrupted as the lights flicked on and I finally saw the monster that was attacking me.

It was a purple pig. "Oh my Mianite! What kind of pig are you?" I squealed. I nuzzled his piggy nose with mine, and he squealed happily from the attention. He licked my cheek again, and hopped into my lap.

"I'm not very good at comforting, but Franklin is." I turned to the door to see Sparklez leaning against the door frame, watching the pig and I with a small smile.

"Is he yours?" I asked. He never told me that he had a pet pig, especially not a purple one.

"Not really. He was Ianite's, and I resurrected him from the dead. Now he just stays with me."

I cuddled Franklin closer to me, and it happily snuggled in my arms. "Thank you, Jordan." I sighed.

"I didn't really do anything. Thank Franklin, since he's the one doing the work." He laughed. I didn't know that Jordan would be so kind and sweet. 'This nerd isn't all I thought him to be.'

I was surprised yet again that morning with a tray of breakfast sitting on the desk. I had no idea that Sparklez could cook, I just thought that he only knew maths and all of the more technical, boring stuff. The tray was filled with muffins, cookies, and a glass of lemonade. It was my favorite breakfast meal. 'How did he know?' I gladly devoured everything on the tray, and drank every drop of the lemonade. During breakfast, Franklin kept nudging my ankle. I assumed that he just wanted me to take him for a walk, so I left the room as soon as I finished. I let him lead the way, since I had no idea if he had a regular walking routine or not. When we reached the main doors, he didn't go through them. Instead, he went over to the elevator and sat down on it, causing him to disappear. I hesitantly stepped on the plate, and I was immediately thrown down a few floors within a second. I screamed a little, but stopped when I realized that I was only in Sparklez's basement.

Franklin was walking forward, leading me to something down the hall. At the end of the long hallway, he stopped in the middle and started sniffing a wall. 'Is he lost? He nudged his nose against the wall, and the grey corridor shifted, opening up a huge hole in the wall. 'This pig is the smartest animal I have ever met.' He waddles into the hole, and I quickly followed behind. What I saw amazed me.

There were machines lined on every wall, and parts hanging from the ceiling. The floor was littered with weird tools that I didn't know the names of. There was another hallways that Franklin was leading me to. An iron door was set up at the end of it, but that wasn't a problem for Franklin. He nudged another hidden button on the wall, and the door opened.

Jordan sat in the middle of the room, leaning over a piece of large blue paper that had lines drawn all over it. He looked deep in thought, until he heard us walk in. "Uh... hi." He waved awkwardly. His hair was all messy, and he was sweating. It was pretty warm down here, and I wondered how he stood it for so long.

"Sorry. Franklin lead me down here. I laughed Nervously. I didn't want to bother him, since he was clearly working on something.

"It's cool. I'm just drawing designs for a reactor." He looked back down at his work, and began to draw more lines with his pencil. I felt sort of awkward, and I would've left, but Franklin had gone to sleep in the corner and I had no clue as to how to get Back out of here.

"So... thanks for the breakfast. How did you know that I liked muffins, cookies, and lemonade? That, like, my favourite breakfast ever." I sat on the floor as well, but far enough away so that I wouldn't distract him.

"That time you were in Dec's infirmary for a week, I helped him make food for you, since Tucker was busy being with Tom. Plus, Dec had no clue how to cook." He replied to me, not looking up from his blue prints.

I remember that. I broke my arm in the purge, and I had to have surgery. Tucker never even visited me. "Oh... That's really sweet of you to remember."

"Yeah, well, Tucker's being an *ss, so you deserve some kindness." He shrugged as he said it. I was taken aback. 'He curses? Like, did he actually just say a swear work just now, or am I going deaf?'

"Wow. I've never heard you say a dirty word, Jordan." I laughed. His cheeks reddened a little at my comment.

"Well, I curse sometimes when I'm angry, but mostly when Tom steals my stuff or breaks something important of mine."

I paused, and let that sink in. "Are you angry at Tucker?" I've never seen him angry at anyone, besides Tom or one of the gods.

"Yeah. He hurt you, and for no damn reason. That's a really stupid thing to do." As he was drawing another line, his pencil snapped in half. He sighed in frustration, and threw the piece across the room, then pulled another one from his pants pocket.

"You... you okay there?" His face was still super red. He was legitimately angry.

"I'm fine." He answered shortly. Sparklez went back to drawing his machine, and his face was still a light shade of red. 'Maybe I should leave, and let him cool off. I've never seen him this angry.'

I stood up. "Um... do you think you could show me the way out? I don't really remember my way through all your hallways."

The anger left his face completely. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel weird, I just... Nevermind. I've been feeling odd lately. I'll show you the way out, just follow me." He stood up and made his way out of the iron door and into the hallway, with me following behind. It was then that I noticed something weird. He had a tattoo. It was peeking up from the collar of his shirt, but I couldn't really make out what it was. I tried to get a better look at it, but he noticed me looking and quickly pulled his collar up. 'Damn it. What's going on with him? First his bipolar attitude, and now he has a tattoo? Something's up with him, and I'm going to find out what it is.'

A/N - Alright. Chapter 8 is the last chapter containing Lee's (fabulous) one-shot, until it's all original work again. Until that's up, though....

(Edit: I'll post the next chapter in a minute or so. I'm going to Ontario and I'll be there until next week, so I can't post the chapter on Wednesday. So.... Enjoy it now!)

(Second edit: I'm never publishing from my phone ever again. It's taken a few weeks, but I now noticed that when I publish from my phone it removes all the indents that I put in MANUALLY. Nope. Never again.)
