Callum was looking around the school. He was looking for the girl she saw earlier. The one who had made class a bit noisy a moment ago. He was walking around the hallways, making his footsteps echo around. He was about to give up when he saw a janitor cleaning up the floor.
"Sir? Have you seen a girl with shoulder-length hair?" Callum asked.
"Are you perhaps looking for Dove?" he asked.
"No, I think her name was--"
"She likes being called Lyved." the janitor said before letting Callum finish.
"Yes, Lyved. Have you seen her?" Callum asked.
"At this time, she must be in the roof."
"Ah, thank you.."
"But only she and the head janitor has the key." the janitor said.
"Where is he?" Callum asked.
The janitor was silent, staring at Callum. What a surprisingly young boy, the janitor thought. Why would he want to look for Lyved? The janitor sent a warm smile to Callum and sighed.
"He's probably in the Janitor's Office right now." the janitor said.
"Thank you so much, sir." Callum bowed in respect.
"Don't bow so much, I'm not that old." the janitor joked.
Callum nodded and smiled back. He walked to the school gym, the place that connects to the Janitor's Office. He was about to reach for the door handle when he saw Dregan playing basketball all by himself. The dribbling of the ball echoed throughout the gym, making Callum curious of Dregan's reasons of playing basketball now, out of all times.
"What do you want." Dregan asked, not bothering to look at Callum.
"Why are you here?" Callum asked.
"I'm in school, I study in school. Am I not allowed to be in school?"
"No, that' not what I meant. Why are you here in the gym?"
"I should ask you that too."
"No reason in particular." Callum excused.
"Then you have no reason to ask my reason."
Callum stood silent and took a second to breathe in. He then walked away to the Janitor's Office. He was looking for a girl he only met today. Maybe it was the way she talked in class earlier? But how come to the point of looking for her? It was odd, even for Callum.
He knocked on the door twice and opened the door with a steady pace. He looked around and saw what he assumed the head janitor is. Callum bowed in respect and stood under the doorway.
"What brings you here?" the head janitor asked.
"May I have the key to the rooftop?" Callum politely asked.
"Why is that?"
"I left something there, and the door was locked when I came back."
"Yeah right, we never open that place anymore."
"Then give me the key, since you don't use it anymore."
"No, what if we need it for emergency?"
"Just let me borrow it, I'll return it as soon as I get a look of the rooftop."
The head janitor looked at Callum and reluctantly thought about it. The head janitor stood up and picked up a key from the the wall of many hooks. He tossed it to Callum.
"Here. We have spares." the head janitor said.
Callum raised an eyebrow. He questioned why the janitor had to fight about giving the key to him, even when there were spares. He shook it off and bowed in respect. He closed the door and hurried to the rooftop.
Dregan saw Callum walk out of the office. Out of curiosity, he watches Callum exit the gym with a hurried pace. With not much interest in the boy, Dregan stayed in the gym. He rested his head on a pillar near the bleachers. He checked his phone and sighed.
Dregan opened his contacts and scrolled down until he saw the contact name 'Little Dove'. He sighed after he read the last message the person sent to him. 'I'm sorry, Dregan.'.

Callum was now in front of the locked rooftop doors. He saw a figure at the edge of the rooftop, leaning against the fence that wrapped the boundaries. He softly unlocked the door and stared at the girl. Why am I doing this, he thought. Why look for a girl who I just met today? Finally, getting his senses back, he turned back, slamming the door behind him.
Lyved looked back after the loud sound and was shocked. I thought I only had the key to the rooftop, she thought. She shook it off and went back downstairs to the classroom. She passed through the 2nd year students. She was being stared at and the girls were whispering and giggling.
Lyved stared at them and gave them the look that meant 'stop'. The girls got the message and felt fear from the eyes of Lyved. She walked through the hallway with silence, the boys following her around.
"What do you want?" Lyved angrily asked.
"Boss.. uh.." Mike, an upperclassman, whispered.
"She's not our boss anymore, Mike." another student said.
"We found a new one." another said.
"I'll still serve you, Lyved." Mike shakily said.
"Whatever." Lyved rolled her eyes at the boys.
The boys suddenly parted to make way for a girl. She was walking towards Lyved, who was staring back.
"Excuse me? Who are you?" the girl asked.
"She's my boss." Mike stood in front of me.
"Oh? Mike, silly boy. I'm your boss now." she said.
"Really? You can have him, I can hardly care about him." Lyved said.
"At least we have the same thoughts about Mike." she said.
Mike looked at Lyved with pleading eyes. He held her arm and took her away from earshot.
"Lyved, please. I don't want to listen to Macy." Mike pleaded to Lyved.
"Why not? At least you would have a pretty boss." Lyved said.
"She's... I don't like her." Mike explained.
"So? What will you do?" Lyved asked, walking away.
Mike was left astonished by Lyved's question. He just stood there and watched her walk away. Macy then found Mike standing around.
"Mike, baby. You have to listen to me." Macy flirted.
Mike only looked disgusted at Macy. He left and hit her shoulder as he walked away back to his classroom. He left Macy surprised and shocked. The boys tried to comfort her but she only stomped and gritted her teeth.
"I'm going to make Mike like me, no matter what. You guys will help me."
