Lyved waved goodbye to Callum, who was going to the airport's entrance doors. She finally didn't see him anymore and stopped waving. Dragen pat her shoulder and sighed.

"You know what?" Dragen said.

"What?" Lyved chuckled.

"We should go back to Water Hill, you know?" he said.

"What?" Lyved asked, her eyebrows furrowed.

"I want to check something."

"And it's in Water Hill?" Lyved asked to clarify. They were walking to the highway.

Dragen nodded. He wanted to know if Dove and Lyved was two different people, or was just the same. After a few months of him thinking with Callum, they finally remembered who Lyved truly was. Dragen stared at Lyved's long hair from the back while they were waiting for the bus to come.

"If she's really Dove, how come she doesn't remember me?" Callum asked.

"Well, it might have been from the accident that happened last year." Dragen explained.

"What was that accident?"

Dragen thought back to one of the past conversations that he and Callum had. He stared lovingly at Lyved, like all the times that he gazed every time he visited the hospital back then. Honestly, he just thought about this now about Lyved.

He didn't love Lyved, he loved Dove. He just wanted to know if Dove was truly Lyved. He didn't exactly care if Lyved was hurt, he only cared if Dove was hurt.

"I see the bus!" Lyved shouted.

"Can we go now?" Dragen asked.

"Sure." Lyved said, walking towards the bus.

Unfortunately, Dragen had another idea. He wanted to go to the train station instead. He grabbed Lyved's hand and quickly walked to the direction of the train station. Water Hill wasn't exactly far away, and he could afford the tickets for both of them at the moment. Maybe not enough for the return trip. He didn't care, he had a couple of friends who could help him there.

"Hey! Where the hell are we going?"

"Water Hill, like I said."

Lyved shook her arm from Dragen. She could only stare angrily, the pill she drank early in the morning was only kicking in now. Maybe it was all day long, but they had so much fun. Her vision faded in and out within seconds, but going back to normal moments later.

"No choice, you have to come with me."

"Shut up, you prick." Lyved muttered.

Lyved stumbled because her vision was failing her again. She could only hold onto Dragen's arm.

---

They soon jumped off the silent train ride and was welcomed by the sweet smell of nature. Well, it wasn't that much strong since they were in the industrious part of the province, but once they walked to the dirt roads, they finally felt the strong winds.

Dragen grabbed Lyved's arm and they went to the direction of the loneliest house you could ever find. It was bigger than most of the other houses, but this one had a not-so-homely feel.

"Your house." Dragen whispered.

Lyved only stared. She knew it was her house. Maybe not hers anymore. She ran away from it and the people inside. She didn't want to go inside just to find her parents. Lyved stood still while Dragen went ahead and opened the door.

She got dizzier the more she looked at the house. She didn't want to go in.

"Come on! Just go in already." Dragen impatiently shouted.

Her heart ached.

Dragen just went inside and left Lyved outside. There road was actually softly covered by a thin sheet of snow. She bent down and touched it, making a smily face on the ground. She frowned as she sat down and waited for Dragen. She didn't have money to go back to the city.

"Here." Dragen said, holding out a box.

Lyved looked up and saw a dirty, metal box. She grabbed it and opened it. A set of earrings, a pink handkerchief and a blue handkerchief. She just touched them softly. She felt nostalgic, but couldn't exactly determine the memory.

"We promised to wear one earring, and exchange our handkerchiefs when we grow up." Dragen explained, closing his eyes. "You could say that it's an engagement ritual. You told me that you're going to be the one to give it to me."

Lyved closed the box and sighed.

"I'm not going to give them away yet."

"I can wait, Dove."

Dove? She wasn't Dove. She was Lyved. It ached her head. Every time she wanted to shout to him that she wasn't Lyved, her head would alway ring. She frowned. She could understand the misunderstanding, but she didn't really like it.

She didn't plan on giving away the box soon.

"I want to go home." Lyved said.

"We can't right now. Maybe later this evening?" Dragen said.

"Why not?"

"I don't have money, but I can ask Alex for some."

"What do you plan on doing then? Can't we just get the money now and leave?"

"Honestly, I want to relax here for a while. I want to meet a couple of my friends now that I'm here."

"Fine, do what you want. Just don't annoy me."

Lyved took the box and stood up, the soft snow falling from the sky. She could trust Dragen.. especially since he already confessed to her. She honestly doesn't even remember the supposed 'promise' they made when they were kids.

She walked and explored the quiet province. Dragen wasn't exactly following her, but she didn't care. She walked back to the industrious part of the province to at least see some souvenirs she could get. As much as she could remember, Water Hill wasn't really a popular province.

Just some cute keychains and a bunch of weird dream catchers.

After her walk, the sun was already setting. She sat down on a bench until the streetlights turned on. She took it that she needed to go back to 'her' house and meet Dragen there. She waited long enough to see a figure walking towards her.

Unfortunately, it was a figure of a woman. A very fashionable woman. Lyved shivered as she looked with fear.

"Mom."
