"Sometimes love ends up betraying itself, completely breaking one another." He says as one tear falls down my eyes.
Our love is stronger than that, we will never harm each other because we are good for each other.
But in the deepest part of my heart I know that one day Shawn and I won't last forever like I want us to but I ignore that anyways as always.
I shouldn't have ignored it so blatantly but if I knew I would be hurting this much, I wouldn't have been with him in the first place.
The hollowness in my heart does nothing but increase the numbness.

~ Camilla's POV~
The first day of my senior year, I woke up at six - fifteen sharp in the morning to the annoying sound of my little sister's screech. She is probably freaking out over running out of her favorite lip gloss. After all, that is what all thirteen year olds do. I put my face under the pillow just as she freaks out again. It doesn't seem to help so I throw the pillow at the door. "Liz, one more sound and I will take away your make up!" I scream. Pulling on the 'Taking your make up' trick always works with Liz. She is extremely strict and careful about her make up.
My dad is barely at the house since he is a pilot so it is just Liz and I. Mom left us eight years ago and Liz does not really remember much. Since, it is only both us, dad left me with the responsibility of taking care of her. Little things around the house remind me of my mom, I remember her telling me to do my bed or else she will not let me play outside.
My mom was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. She had beautiful dirty blonde hair and exquisite dark blue eyes. Everything about her, every quality of hers reflects me. I will always have that part of her within me. On the other hand, Liz got my dad's shiny chocolate brown hair and emerald green eyes.
I pull my blankets off and push myself off the bed. I have no energy left in me, I slept really late yesterday. By the time I stand up, I quickly regret pulling my blankets off of me. I glance at the clock and immediately change my mind of going back to bed. I have twenty minutes to wear something decent and drive my sister to Riverdale Middle School then myself to Easton High. The first day of the last school year will start with me coming late, wow.
I wear my black high neck tank top and pair it with some high waisted sky blue jeans with a loose cream coloured cardigan. And of course, my simple and basic white vans. I quickly open my door and before leaving, I look at the clock. I have only fifteen minutes left! I hurriedly pace down the stairs to the kitchen. I was hoping to see Liz but then not a whole a lot shocked not to see her in the kitchen. "Liz, come down now or walk yourself to the first day of school!" I scream at the bottom of the stairs.
"I'm coming, geez. Stop being such weirdo and anyways you are the one who is late." I hate it whenever she acts like it's my fault. I ignore her and quickly run back to the kitchen and grab two bananas and my bag.
"Cami, you cannot just possibly expect me to only have a banana for breakfast." She eyes me and gives me her signature 'are you for real' face.
"I am serious about you walking to school if you say one more word"
She shuts up and stomps her way out the door like she owns the place. I lock the house and place the keys under the mat for dad. I pace to the driver's seat and unlock the car. Liz is still scowling, god can this girl ever grow up. I ignore and hand a banana over to her and drive off. I reach her school in ten minutes leaving me with five minutes to reach my school.
She opens the door and flings her backpack over her shoulders, just as she is about to step out of the car. I reach for her "Good Luck" I say, remembering my mom said that to me. She manages a smile and walks out.
As soon as she is in the school, I rush to mine. This might have been the first time I reached my school in less than five minutes. I park my black Mazda beside an unfamiliar car. There must be a new student this year which is weird. I let the thoughts fade out of my mind and rush inside as everyone walks in. I go to my locker and wait for Sky to come. I leave right after I see everyone going to their homeroom classes.
This year I got Mr. Richard as my homeroom teacher. Rumor has it, he washes his hair once a month. That is just gross! As I walk in the class, I see someone incredibly excited for the first day of school waving at me and gesturing me to come over. I ignore her and just as I walk by I hear a very familiar voice "Cami, come sit here". I turn around and see Sky. Yes, Sky.
The same Sky Crystal Evans who used to be pale white and had beautiful brunette hair, now has perfect tanned skin and a lighter brunette hair. Huh, guessing the heat of Los Angeles did really make her a hundred times prettier during the summer.
I quickly go to her and give her the biggest hug ever and retrieve the seat next to her as
he walks in...
