When you're in high-school, strange and awkward things can happen everyday. Minsan pwede ka mapahiya kapag may natirang pagkain sa ngipin mo, or mabasted sa harap ng school body.

Ngayon, in english class, we have to make a thesis. And the strangest thing? Si Jett Tron yung nakapares ko!

AWKARD!

Out of all people?? SI JETT PA?

Bakit di nalang si Chris, si Drew or yung top 1 namin na si Yanie? Ang awkward talaga.

Why awkward? Well I wouldn't really mind it if this happened before the games since Jett has been my friend before at kahit napipikon minsan ako sa mga pranks at gawain niya, never akong na awkward kasama niya. Except now.

Pinagtabi kami ng teacher namin and since the class started he wouldn't keep his eyes off me. "Stop staring Jett"

"Sige nga, try and stop me Via." Ngumisi siya.

Tumingin ako sa harap at iniwasan ang tingin niya, lalo na't nakita ko ang titig ni Lara at Ella. Mukhang curious si Lara habang bakat sa mukha ni Ella ang pagkainis.

Pinaglaruan ni Jett at inikot sa'kanyang daliri ang dulo ng buhok ko. I felt chills in my back at agad kong inusog ang upuan ko. May sayad siguro toh.

Of course mas lalo niya 'Kong nilapitan.

"Since our topic is about friendship, I've decided that the topic of our thesis will be about LOVE." masayang sabi ni Miss. Claire. Halos lahat ng mga kaklase ko nagbulungan at nagsimulang magreklamo.

Tumayo si Andy, "Miss Claire, why love? I want to report something about education!"

"Love is so overrated Miss Claire, and not all of us agree with this type of topic." sabi ng isa pa naming kaklase. "Can I report about refugees instead."

More whispers came but Miss. Claire remained calm and still. "Well, love isn't only about romance diba? Andy, you could talk about how romantic love affects eduaction, tapos Gwen, I'm sure you can make a topic relating the current situation of the refugees and love."

Napatahimik yung buong klase. Nosebleed daw, bulong ng isa kong kaklase.

"Love ang topic natin, no excuses, no exemptions." maliwanag na sabi ni Miss. Claire. "I will give you 20 minutes to discuss about your topic."

I gulped and turned my seat around. Kaharap ko si Jett. Never talaga kami nagkausap, all he does is prank us, make mean comments during sleepovers and bring us food when Chris asks him to, hindi nga kami close. "Uh-- eh, um.."

Via Tolentino, hanapin mo yung salita mo!

"Anong gusto mong topic?" kinagat ko yung labi ko sa sobrang nerbyos. Tumingin lang sakin si Jett at tahimik na nagisip. Don't be awkward, don't be awkward!

AWKWARD SILENCE

"Hmm, pano kaya kung gumawa tayo ng thesis tungkol sa male and female interaction?" ngumiti siya sakin at nilapit niya yung upuan niya.

"A-ano?" I stuttered.

Mas lalo siyang lumapit. "I mean, tutal nagsimula narin naman yung Cupid's Champion tapos maraming male and female interaction, why not make a thesis about that?"
