I walked into the school with Vic. Everyone was staring at me and I didn't like it all.

"What is wrong with everyone in this stupid city staring at me?" I asked Vic.

"You're the new kid, of course they're gonna stare." He told me.

"That's stupid." I rolled my eyes. "Come with me to get my schedule."

"Alright." He said, leading the way.

I walked with him, continuing to get stared at. I went into the office and walked up to the front desk.

"Hello! How may I help you?" The lady approached.

"I need my schedule." I said with a bored tone.

"Okay, sure. What's your name?" She asked.

"Kellin Bostwick." I frowned. I missed my dad a lot and my last name was a constant reminder that he was gone. I preferred going by Kellin Quinn.

"Okie dokie." She said, pulling out my file. "Here you go!"

I grabbed the schedule and handed it to Vic.
"Hold this." I ordered him.

"Thank you." I sent the lady a fake smile.

I walked out the office with Vic running to catch up.

"Hey, I just want to let you know that I'm not gonna be your little slave or whatever." He said, almost looking annoyed.

"God, you're so annoying. Just give me this." I ripped the paper out of his hand.

"Do we have any of the same classes?" He asked, cooling down.

"I don't fucking know! Do I look like I'm familiar with your schedule?" I asked sassily.

"You're right. Sorry." He glanced at my paper. "We have no classes together before lunch and after lunch we have one separated, but the two after that we have together. Art and Gym." He told me.

"Ew! Gym?!" I shrieked.

"Uh, yeah. You need to take it to graduate." Vic said.

"That's disgusting. I'm not taking this." I whined, walking back toward the office sassily.

However, I didn't get very far considering Vic stepped in front of me and blocked my path.

"What are you doing?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I'll help you. Just take the class. You'll be fine." He told me, trying to comfort me.

"Ugh, you're lucky I like you." I complained, soon realizing what I said when Vic stared at me curiously. "Not like that."

"Mhm, sure." He smirked.

"Stop being stupid and just walk me to my class." I said.

"Alright, alright. Come on, Princess."

"How original." I scoffed.

I walked around the school for the fifth time, still not being able to find my third period math class. I was getting really irritated and flustered. Anytime that something stood in my way, I got frustrated and I began to cry. That's just how I was. I wanted everything to go my way and the second that it didn't, I was thrown over the roof. I'm a total brat and I know that, but I would never admit it to anyone and I didn't like hearing it from anyone else.

I looked at the numbers of the classrooms and I still didn't see number 731.

"Ugh!" I practically screamed as my eyes watered.
