"Hey, you're Kellin, right?" Oli says, coming up to Vic and I.

"Yeah. This is Vic, my best friend." I told Oli.

Vic had a shocked look on his face but I wasn't sure what he was so shocked about. He wiped the look of his face and smiled at Oli.

"Cool. Thank for coming. You're bound to have lots of fun." He winked and walked away.

"Best friend, huh?" Vic smirked.

"Fuck, did I really say that? I was joking." I blushed and laughed awkwardly.

"Sure you were." He chuckled. "Do you drink?"

"I have a few times. I'm not really one to do reckless shit like that all the time." I admitted.

"Hm, we're like opposites. I come off as a super nice and innocent guy, but I do lots of things that I probably shouldn't." He said, walking over to the bar Oliver had set up. "On the other hand, you're like a total brat who has his life in check and is still somewhat responsible. It makes no sense."

"Hey, don't say that. I'm not a brat." I frowned.

"Whatever you say, Kell." He chuckled again, pouring himself a drink.

I knew he was right but I didn't like being reminded that I sucked at being a decent person.

"I'm not." I mumbled.

I sat on a barstool when Vic handed me a drink.

"Wait, Vic. Who's gonna drive us home? I'm absolutely not driving my Porsche under the influence." I told him.

"You're right. Wanna drive back and call an Uber?" He suggested.

"Sure. Good idea."

So that's what we did. When we got back to the party, we continued to drink. About an hour later, I had had two margaritas and three lines of shots. Vic had two beers and a cup of vodka. We were both tipsy as hell. I had never drank this much before, so the impact was harder than it should be. Vic was surely acting more stable than I was. In fact, he had his hand on my back to make sure I didn't fall off the barstool.

"Wanna go dance?" He slurred.

"I can't dance. Like, at all." I admitted.

"That's okay, just try it out for a little." He smiled goofily.

"Fine."

I carefully got off the stool and followed Vic to the dance floor. I looked at what everyone else was doing, but they were all grinding on each other. I wasn't about to grind on Vic. I wasn't capable of that for sure.

"Vee, I don't know what to do." I said.

"It's okay, I'm just gonna hold your hips and you can roll them, alright?" He instructed.

"Uh, okay. I'm sorry if I mess up, I've never done this stuff before." I told him nervously.

"It's alright, Kell." He smiled and grabbed my hips lightly.

There was something about his touch that made me feel all giddy inside. I really hoped I wasn't developing feelings though. I turned in his grip, slowly rolling my hips to the beat of the trashy music just like Vic told me to. I surprisingly got the hang of it pretty quickly.

"There you go." Vic chuckled from behind. He lightly tightened his grip on my hips but I don't think he noticed.

We danced for a while more before Oli announced that they were starting a game of spin the bottle outside. It sounded fun, so Vic and I agreed to play.
