Chapter 13

[Dawns pov]

It's been 15 min and I am still falling down waiting to land on the ground . Maybe I'll read a book...I took out my favourite book 'Goosebumps' and began reading it as I continued falling down. My hair was wildly sailing  upwards. Why can't they just hold Byrons hand so that he won't disappear? I grumbled inside my head as I continued reading.

Meanwhile......
[Kurapikas pov]

We have already finished our battle with the prisoners and are now waiting in a room as a penalty, thanks to Leorio who lost the gamble.
I rolled my eyes at tonpa who was picking on Leorio and continued reading my book. Ahead of me Mika sat meditating. Gon and killua were busy observing some toy bird and then ran here and there to explore the room.  They sure have lots of energy I smiled at them and flipped the page.

Back with Dawn....
[Dawns pov]

I am still nowhere near the ground. Yes I am still falling. Great. How long do I have to keep on falling? Till old age? No way! I will fail the exams and then I won't be able to save mom...and then what will happen to my friends...? Will they miss me? I shook my head hard . "Air element: Wind blast!" I turned
Myself in such a way that my back was facing the ground and I breathed out air that shoot out like jet . It increased my speed and I went down whooshing! Must be thinking if I have my back turned to the ground I will definitely crash because I won't be able to know I'm nearing it? Haha I have good reflex  and I trust them.
I could already feel the ground nearby. I swinged  myself hard and landed on my legs in a crouching position. The ground beneath me was soft and squishy . Like a ...sofa? I looked down and surely enough I was standing on a purple sofa. I blinked confused and was about to walk away when I heard familiar people calling my name.

"DAWN?!!!!"

"Where the hell were you?! I was worried!!!!" (Killua) I blushed faintly. ....for the first...time...he admitted he was worried...

"Are you ok? We didn't see you with us..."(Kurapika)

"Dawn!!!" (Gon who has glomped me)

"Hime sama!!!!" (Mika)

"Yo!"(Leorio)

"How?!" I growled at this voice. The sly , cunning and evil voice which belonged to non other than...Tonpa.

"You had quite some gut to lure me all the way to the trap eyyy~ You think you are the great rookie crusher eh~?~ I'll show you what's a evil crusher!" I said with a fake smile and a big tick mark 💢. I clapped my hands twice and two darts appeared in them. I laughed a sinister laugh and threw them at him. He tried to do dodge it but it followed him wherever he went. "Give it up tonpa~ that magic dart never misses it's target~♤ oh- one more thing. It's poisoned so try to run as fast as you can~☆.☆" i told him and he began to run as fast as he could. Behind me the others , well....except Mika who stood poker faced, were clutching their stomach and laughing hard. Revenge accomplished!!! Muahahahahahahaha!

"Soooooo~ how did you guys get here?  "I asked them as they sat on the ground catching their breathe. But Gon and killua were still busy giggling. "We fell through the trap doors and somehow we fell in the same room with Tonpa.
He sighed. "After that we had to play  majority game. And tonpa tried to create problems in that..then we fought with some prisoner and landed here." He explained and I nodded with a pout. Jeez...they got all the fun!!!><

"What about you Dawn? Where were you?" Gon asked finally stopping his giggles. "Weeeeell ~ you see-" i blushed hard. They are definitely going to laugh at me...T.T uwaaaaaa~"Dawn? Are you ok? Your face is red!" Gon exclaimed pointing at my tomato red face. I sighed and shook my head. "No Gon I'm ok....actually I was lured to a trap door by certain somebody  (Glares at tonpa who was busy running from the darts ) with the help of...*clears throat and blushes deep red* f... food......" i muttered.
"I swear I couldn't control myself!!!" I quickly added. "The cheese looked so delicious and creamy ~..*mouth waters* i just went on eating!! And then the Miso rameeeeen~" i trailed off in my own food world. I quickly snapped out of it when I didn't hear anything from them. "Um......?" I fidgetted under their stare.

SILENCE.

"pfffft!!" And suddenly Killua burst out laughing. He was followed by Gon and soon everyone were laughing hard including Mika.
"Dawn you are such a glutton!!" Leorio choked out laughing hard. "I have...pfffft!! Never heard somebody hahaha! Getting lured by food!" Killua gufawed. Kurapika was clutching his stomach and laughing hard. My face by now was steaming completely red from embarrassment. Gon was too busy laughing and Mika was giggling.

This....is too embarrassing. ......><😣

Jeez.... I pouted hard and flopped down on the ground. Mika hurried upto me. "Dawn sama....are you OK?  Where's Midori sama?" She asked in her robotic monotonous voice. Can't she be at least a bit cheerful? Now to think about it...Midori is still there 😅

"Well she's still in the room ...." I said scratching the back of my head. "Room?! Wait she's alone?!!" She yelped. I nodded to which she immediately panicked. "I told her to stay close to me! !! And now she's gone!! Ugh. .....Dawn sama I'm going to look for her!!!!><" she said and jumped up cracking the ceiling and going straight up. I whistled.
(A/N:- Mika sure is fond of Midori...
Dawn:- a-aye...)

"I hope her head didn't crack..." Kurapika muttered. " When it comes to Midori ....she's always ok even if her head is split in two 😅" I said.

"So how long are we all staying here?" I asked killua. "More 3 hours." He mumbled lazily. "That would be boring!!!>< " I whined. More 3 hours doing nothing? ! Impossible! !! Think Dawn think!! What you can do ....think! Think!

[Killuas pov]

Well she's safe ...that's good...but I'm embarassed ...how could I admit that I was worried?!!! And...more importantly to think she would fall for such a flimsy trick...maybe she's not that strong...? Maybe shes an idiot from whom I can't take my eyes off...I smiled to myself but it dropped soon when I saw Dawns evil grin. I don't like that...😑...definitely not. I shivered. Besides me Gon trembled. Why? Because her grin was directed towards Me and Gon.

"Dawn......what's with that expression. ..I don't like the looks of it." I said but she just snickered  evily.😏

[Dawns pov ]

I started walking towards them rubbing my hands like how a mosquito does. "khukhukhu.😈.." I laughed in a low voice to scare them and stopped just a few inches away from them. By now both of them were hugging themselves with their face blue and their body shivering 😨😨😱😱. I smiled evily.

"TIME FOR THE BET!!!!!!😈😈😈" I declared and roared with laughter .

[No one's pov]

As soon as Dawn declared that a  boyish scream and not so boyish scream could be heard.
