Callie's POV

I walked through the supermarket trying to find the tomato sauce.
It is my first time here, and I had just moved to Los Angeles.

Why couldn't I find the tomato sauce?? I walked through the huge supermarket until I accidentally bumped into a tall person.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I haven't seen you," I apologized. I looked up and I couldn't believe my eyes.
It was Charlie Puth. Oh my goodness he looks even more handsome in reality! I'm a huge fan of him, he is my favorite singer!
"It's ok," he answered with a little smile on his face.
I was trying not to freak out and scream with excitement. I didn't want him to think I'm one of those crazy fans, even though I was a crazy fan. I wasn't prepared to meet Charlie Puth, the absolutely talented singer, songwriter, and producer. I didn't know what to say.
"Have a nice day!" he said and turned around.

I was so speechless. I couldn't say anything to him, and now he was gone. Why was I such an idiot? I always wanted to meet him and now it happened. But instead of asking him for an autograph or for a picture, I just stood there not able to say a word. Gosh, I'm so stupid!

After I found everything I needed, I went over to the cash desk.
The woman at the cash desk asked me how old I was. I wanted to buy wine to celebrate my move with my best friend Linda.
I answered, "I'm 22."
"Can I see your ID card, please?" she asked me and her voice sounded like she didn't believe me.
Ugh, it annoys me so much that I always get carded. Do I look that young?!
"Sure," I showed her my card and paid. Suddenly I heard a deep smooth voice behind me.

"Ah I know this, everyone wants to see my ID card. They always think I'm like 17 hahaha," someone laughed. I turned around.
"By the way I'm Charlie," he added.
Wait, is he talking to me?!
Obviously yes because there was no one else except the woman at the cash desk. She started tapping on her phone.
This is your chance Callie, come on!
"I know because I'm a fan," I said.
"Oh really?!,"
I took my courage in both hands and asked, "May I please take a picture with you?"
"Sure," he answered and we took a picture together.
"Can I also have a hug, please?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah of course, I love all of my fans. And you're very sweet," he smirked.
He hugged me and he smelled very good. I had my head on his chest because he was taller than me. Seriously the best hug I've ever had.
"I'm so sorry but I have to go now," he said.
"Thank you so much, Charlie!" was everything I could say.

After all this happened, I left the supermarket and texted my best friend Linda.
Before I moved here to LA, I lived in Atlanta at my parents' house together with my older sister Maria. She's four years older than me and I love her like my best friend. She moved out when I was 16 and I felt really lonely after that because she was probably my only friend.
I usually don't like a lot of people and I'm also very shy. I feel very uncomfortable when I'm in a room full of people I've never met.
Five years ago, I met Linda via Twitter. We became good friends and she visited me a couple times in Atlanta. Now she's my neighbor and best friend forever. I'm so glad to have her.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I've just met Charlie Puth! I'm so happy right now, he said to me that I'm sweet! We took a picture and he hugged me! :D
