Silence loomed through the air.
Darkness all around.
But the light from the laptop screen summoned the darkness.
Just like the photograph on the laptop which was a beacon of light.
For the darkness which surrounded his heart.
Ebony locks swayed as her olive skin shone with all the golden lights surrounding her.
Her hazelnut eyes glinted; the same eyes which had captured his heart the very first day when he saw those orbs.
And those lips which formed an eloquent smile made his heartbeat ricochet as his mind went on to a few hours back when she was in his arms, her lips pressed onto his as she confessed her love for him.
The confession made him feel like he had conquered the entire world.
And before he could live in that moment, it was snatched away from him.
Like every time.
Every time he thought he had found his happiness, it would be snatched away from him.
But that just made him stronger because he wasn't someone who would lose.
He would do anything to conquer what belongs to him.
And even this time, he wasn't ready to lose what really belonged to him.
The silence in the air was disrupted by his phone as he attended it.
"Sir, I have some news about Dr. Avni Nambiar."
He gave a stern 'yes' in response but his entire body was perked up by her name.
His mind was racing and so was his heart as the person on the other line continued speaking.
When the call ended, he stared at the laptop; his charcoal eyes blazed with a fierceness which only occurred when he knew he was going to win something as he spoke with a devious smirk forming his face.
"Now there is nothing which could stop me from making you mine."
