The sound of someone being punched in the face echoed throughout the hall.
Marvin crashed back down to the ground, the palm of his hand tightly pressing against his cheek.
Porter grabbed Marvin by the collar of his shirt and raised him off the ground. "I never liked you." Porter growled.
The look on Porter's face sent shivers down my back.
I was unable to move, too shocked about what was happening and what did happen. I just sat there, watching Porter giving Marvin murderous looks and seeing Marvin being punched by Porter. I wanted to help, to tell them to stop but I was too overwhelmed by everything that all I could do was sit there and watch.
Marvin looked up at Porter, expressionless. He didn't seem fazed at all by the situation. This made Porter even more furious.
"Your going to pay." Porter punched Marvin right in the jaw and blood spurted from his mouth.
Marvin wiped off the blood from his mouth with his hand and pulled away from Porter. He stumbled back and for a split second there was a smirk playing on his lips. But, it was quickly removed by a frown. "Hit me all you want Porter Geiss. For what I have done will not be erased from our minds. I'm sorry..I acted without thinking. I feel terrible for what I have done..I don't know what has overtook me-"
"Shut up you no good lying nerd!" Porter threw another punch at Marvin, hitting him in the eye. There would be no doubt Marvin would now have a black eye.
Marvin fell to the ground, both hands pressing against his right eye.
Porter made his way up to Marvin, determined to beat the spooks right out of him!
Marvin clearly surrendered, he didn't even fight back.
I have to do something.
"Porter, that's enough!" I cried.
Porter ignored me.
"Port-!"
The bell rang for nutrition break to begin. I heard voices of some ghosts being heard from down the hallway.
Porter finally stopped and I flew towards him. I stumbled and fell into his arms, where he caught me. But his eyes weren't on me, they were on Marvin's. Still sending deadly looks.
"P-porter..we should go." My voice wavered, as if at any moment I would break down into tears. Though, I was too shocked to cry.
Porter finally looked at me and his face softened, only a bit. Then, he had a guilty expression on him and stiffly nodded. "Yeah..lets go."
Porter wrapped his arms around me and we began to walk away. Porter stopped half way and turned around to Marvin, who still laid there on the ground, leaning against the wall.
"If you ever touch Spectra again, I will kill you." Porter growled, then turned his head back, and continued to walk, with me by his side.
I was speechless. Shocked. Scarred.
I didn't dare look back at Marvin, just leaned against Porter as he strode me out of the school.
"W-where are we going?" I asked, my voice small and fragile.
"I'm taking you home." Porter replied back, eyes looking ahead.
"What about your school? You can't just leave.."
"I don't care about that place. I can have my detention later." Porter was avoiding eye contact with me, and he wore a hard expression.
We walked along the path to River's boat.
