Hour 7. The sobbing maiden

Lucifer's POV

It was only half an hour since Kaitlyn fell asleep. Her new third eye was really-really-freaking Shile out. Honestly, it was creepy.
         Despite a giant eye in the middle of her forehead, she was quite cute. I always loved the way people looked whilst asleep.
         As we were walking through some valleys, we came across a bright light. It was coming from behind a tree a few feet away. I looked at Shile, who nodded her approval and I rushed over.
           Lying there was a beautiful maiden, sobbing into her knees. My immediate thought was to help. I knelt down beside her and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, hey, it's ok."
"N-no it's not.."
"What's not ok..?"
"It. Everything's bad. Getting worse. I-I can't.. I'm so sorry. I-it's nothing.."
"It's gotta be something if it's making such a beautiful maiden cry so hard like that."

I gave her a small grin and helped her stand back up. She had glowing white hair, pale skin and crystal blue eyes. She was certainly very beautiful. Her aura was white too. She just seemed to glow.
        She looked up at me, and I could see the terror in her eyes. She was on the verge of tears. I felt sorry for her. After of what seemed like an hour, Shile came trotting up and changed back to a human.
        She eyed me, asking what was up. I looked at the maiden again, then back at Shile, shrugging. I had no idea what was wrong with her.
"Hey, are thee okay? What's wrong?"
"Everything.."
"Are you with anyone, M'am?"
"I was, about a millennia ago.."
"What? Millennia? What do thee mean?"
"I'm Gracie. I'm one of the fallen angels that fell for 9 days and 9 nights into the depths of Hell. Biggest regret of my life."
"So why're you crying?"
"Because..... I've been free from Hell for a long time, but I'm stuck here. Of all the places I could've been banished to, it had to be here! On Earth is horrible.."
"Hey! I- er I mean, hey, it's not so bad once thee get used to it."
"Is that so? How can you live like this?"
"It's the only way we know how to live. I've been a human before. Now I'm half wolf and I just have to deal with it. Lucy here has his problems and he's gotta live with it, ain't that right?"
"Don't call me Lucy, but, she's right you know. We can help you, Gracie. We really can, I promise."
"Whatever thee need."
"R-really? You'd do that for me?"
"Of course we would!"
"No catch?"
"Of course there is!"
"Uuhhggg, fiiine. What is it?"

We came to an agreement that if we helped her settle in on Earth she'd help us get the flower. She agreed to that much more quickly than I thought. She must've been really desperate..
        Whether it was by force or not, we had four out of five in the prophecy.. thing. We were doing good so far. Kaitlyn should be waking up soon.
