The view below after Maize and Matrix took off on Ashar and Falcon just looked like an empty circle of grass surrounded by trees. Like a grove of things that once were and are now gone. Matrix was amazed by the power behind the witch. She wiped out any sign of them ever being there.

Matrix had never been in a plane so she had never seen what things looked like from above. All of the trees and how they changed the further they went from one kind to another.  The pegasi were so fast, she was sure they could out fly an airplane easily.

Maize called to her as they flew above this forest of fur and pine trees. "There are lots of little communities disguised in those woods, love. There is a fairy city and a gypsy camp. You can't see them from up here, of course, but they are there."

"If you can't see them from here, how do you find them?" Matrix asked. She figured you would be able to see all the towns and villages from the air.

"They have to want you to find them. Like how I wanted you to find me. You saw how the church turned to pure rubble before we left. That doesn't mean my home is gone. And you didn't even get to see the whole thing. Now when we get to Malaya, you will be amazed. Not just by her home, but by the enchantments that protect her home. Trust me there is nothing like Malaya anywhere in any universe," Maize told her.

"Why do you live so far apart?" Matrix asked.

"There are actually four of us girls. We all have different responsibilities in different areas. We meet from time to time outside of work related reasons, but for the most part we each do our own thing," Maize almost sounded sad as she answered the question.
