I stared at Peter, horror-struck. No, no, no, this isn't happening! I groaned out loud, and turned to Caspian with pleading eyes saying 'please change the subject.'

He didn't get the silent request.

"I mean, you look very familiar. Quite like a girl I saw in the forest around Cair Paravel one day," Peter continued, judging my reaction. I stared back blankly, trying very hard to restrain my building fear. I knew the effort was no good considering I already had an outburst.

Why was I afraid? Uhh, well...Aslan said not to interfere with anything during my visits. One day, I got careless and was making a substantial amount of noise. I didn't know Peter was trotting by on his dark chestnut horse, and he had caught and questioned me. I begged him not to tell, and by the looks on his siblings faces, he kept his promise.

Then again, I was interfering right now without consequence. Maybe I was needed?

"You never told us about a girl," Edmund remarked, now focusing more of his attention on me. I could feel the scorch of his gaze on the side of my head.

"Did nobody tell you it was rude to stare?" I asked him, throwing him a side glance full of annoyance. Why only a glance?

Well, one day as I was walking around the forest to the southwest side of Cair Paravel. (Southwest if you were facing the sea, northeast if you were on the shore below) I was just walking, but as I came within hearing distance of one of the gardens, I obviously overheard a conversation.

"Edmund, really, you don't have to be so rude! The poor girl was only trying to win your favor!" I heard a distinctly feminine voice say. A younger-sounding female voice piped up.

"Yeah, Ed," it said. (A/N: ryhme!!) "She was just trying to catch your eye!" I gathered from the voices that Susan had spoken first, and Lucy had just contributed her part. I got closer and camouflaged myself in with the trees surrounding the quaint little garden. My dress had been green, so it worked.

However, people see motion before shape and color, and my actions had not gone unnoticed to the Just King. His eyes darted to my miniscule movement, and, to my dismay, STAYED there. His gaze was locked on a point next to me, but with those big, brown eyes I couldn't be sure if he really didn't see me. Of course I had an itch on my nose, and I had one heck of a struggle resisting the urge to reach up and just give it the slightest brush. Susan noticed her brother was preoccupied, and shifted in her seat to turn and look.

She of course saw nothing, but Lucy once again piped up.

"Did nobody tell you it was rude to stare, Ed?" she joked, and Edmund, though not convinced, looked away.

As I had this little flashback, I vaguely noticed the reaction my words had. Edmund's eyes went wide, Susan gave a puzzled smirk, and Lucy gasped. Well, Lu remembered the same moment I had just delved into apparently, as well as Ed. Su looked like she had the feeling that she was missing something huge. Which she was.
