Not sure if Trufflehunter and Nikabrik were part of the infiltration, but I don't think they were, so just pretend they're there, okay?

Alrightyyy, here we go!

"Do we have the right entrance?"

"There's only one right entrance, dumbass. It's a fortress on top of a cliff, how many damn entrances do you think there are?"

"Well we need to get in our position at the correct entrance!"

"What did I just say? There's only ONE main entrance!"

"Both of you, hush!" I said, not being able to take any more. Trufflehunter and Nikabrik just stared at me.

"Everybody's tense, we need this to go right, nobody is keen on dying, so just shut up. And yes, Trufflehunter, this IS the right entrance," I was beyond annoyed right now. This was time to get serious, not time to banter.

"Yes, Your Highness," Trufflehunter replied, and I stiffened, turning to face him slowly.

"How many times do I have to say it? You call me Clarisse. Nothing more," I hissed, and Trufflehunter backed up a few steps before nodding.

"Good. Now, as soon as King Edmund is in place, we need to line up at one end of the bridge without calling to much attention to ourselves," I said, "Can we handle that?" Everybody who heard me, nodded. I nodded my head back and resumed watching the skies.

"Are you sure that's the right tower?"

"Yes I'm sure you nitwit! What other tower-"

"If you two don't knock it off right now, I will slit both your throats," I murmured.

After Edmund's signal, we were all waiting for the last one telling us to storm the gates. Trufflehunter came and sat down next to me. He patted my shoulder.

"It's alright, Clarisse," he said, "we'll get through this."

I just nodded my head.

Really I had a bad feeling about this.

I didn't have time to dwell on that thought for very long. Edmund signaled and we charged the gates. The guards leaped out of the way in fear as the gates were smashed open. We all ran through, and I immediately started shooting my bow at any guard I could. Didn't want them to raise the alarm now, did we?

Some of the soldiers decided to gang up on me, and since I wasn't Susan, I couldn't handle shooting in a rapid succession fashion in such close range. I quickly drew my sword and started my attack.

It was going pretty well...until ALL of the infantry were called in.
