We had a snow day a while back so I watched The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe and Prince Caspian. I have woods behind my house and it looked exactly how when Lucy finds Narnia (I even live next to a train) so I walked around listening to the soundtrack and gazing at this covered in ice. I love ice. So pretty.
Anyway, after re-watching I realized that I wrote Edmund so freaking wrong.....
Edmund was a little shit in the first film. He was a bit of an asshole, and I guess I just really wanted to write that kind of male lead because that's what I made him in this story.
EVEN THOUGH AFTER I WATCHED IT RECENTLY I REALIZED HE WAS ALL SMILEY AND KINDA BOUNCY AND REASONABLE AND LITERALLY LIVING UP TO HIS "JUST" TITLE.
TBPH, this should have been a Peter story because Peter was the prideful asshole that got all those soldiers killed at Miraz's castle :)))))))))))))))))) No shade there no, perfectly sunny.
Edmund was just being a sweetie and I totally wrote the vibe wrong.
If I did it over, I'd pretty much have to write a whole new story at this point lol. Put in moments where Ed's not always an ass, or just make it Peter centered. Now that I'm older, Pete's looking damn fine and Edmund's almost too young for me *cries internally* Growing up sucks.
