The picture is what I think Rook, Archer, and Shay are like when they're all in the same place at the same time.
_______________
I yawned. More out of boredom than any other reason. Archer and Shay, unfortunately, had disappeared when I wasn't paying attention the night before. Connor had stayed though, and was now talking with Edward. I was so bored I debated the wisdom of swimming behind the ship as it was sailing.I dubbed that a very bad idea.
Raven was helping with something in a different part of the ship, so I was alone, slashing the training dummies to pieces. I was really wishing Archer and Shay had stayed the moment I destroyed the training dummies. None of the crew wanted to challenge me to a sword fighting duel, Edward and Connor were too busy talking to do anything else, and nobody seemed to know where Raven was.
Just when I thought I was going to die of being so bored, there was an explosion of booms that must have come from, at the very least, a hundred cannons.
The door to the training room burst open. "You could have told us your father had a Man O' War!" Edward shouted, grabbing a pouch of bullets from the table.
"A what?" I followed him to the ladder. "I don't pay attention to boats, sorry."
"Ships," Edward corrected. "A Man O' War is-"
He was interrupted by another boom and the Jackdaw rocking. I caught my balance much faster than Edward.
"You'll get the idea when you see it." He shoved the trapdoor open and climbed onto the deck.
After he was out of the way I leaped straight up, landing at Edward's side. I looked up at the giant ship circling the Jackdaw. It's three masts almost seemed to touch the clouds, the sides painted a dark red with blue railings. Three rows of cannons lined each side and Edward pointed out several mortars in the back.
"That's not good," I said numbly. "How did I not know he had one of those?"
"You'd be surprised at how easy those things are to hide, lass," Edward said. "She'll sink us if we don't get out of here."
Someone walked to the edge of the deck on the opposing ship. "Hand over the Starrick girl and you can sail away!" he shouted importantly.
"You wish," Edward growled.
Without thinking I ran to the edge of the Jackdaw and dove over the railing.
"Rook!" Edward and Connor shouted.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Edward asked.
"Trust me!" I called up. I started swimming toward the giant ship.
The man either hadn't noticed the little outburst or didn't think it was worth worrying about. "We shall give you five minutes to make your decision!" he called, even more grandly than before. If that was possible.
I started climbing up the side, water pouring from my robes. I reached the railing and climbed over behind the man. "Don't bother waiting. I'm right here." I let my arms hang at my sides. "And you'd better not sink them either."
The man turned and smiled evilly at me. "Seize her." He pointed at me.
Two of the crew grabbed my arms and yanked them behind my back, tying my hands with a thick rope.
I looked toward the Jackdaw while the two crew members took my weapons. Edward was watching helplessly, hands resting on the railing. He met my eyes then glanced up. I followed his gaze and saw Raven crouched on one of the yardarms, holding a rope for support. I shook my head slightly at him, but he didn't notice.
Raven dropped down, killing both of the men with my weapons in one blow. He looked at the man in front of me. "Let her go," he said calmly.
I felt something sharp touch my back. I tried to turn and see, but couldn't quite turn far enough. I opened my mouth to warn Raven and felt the sword or knife dig into my back. I closed my mouth.
The man sneered at Raven. "I don't think so." He waved a hand and the person behind me jumped forward and stabbed Raven's back.
Raven howled in pain and collapsed against the railing. The person who had been behind me gave him a gentle push, and he fell over the side, splashing into the ocean below.
I closed my eyes and dropped my head. Even though he was like me, there was no way he would survive that. I felt someone grab my arm roughly and start dragging me away. I opened my eyes so I wouldn't trip. I didn't fight them. I knew that I wouldn't have been able to beat the entire crew of this monster of a ship with my hands tied.
I was thrown into a cell in the brig. I tested the ropes several times, trying to break them without success. I did manage to curl into a small enough ball to get my hands in front of me with a lot of maneuvering.
I sighed and leaned against the bars. I was the only person in the brig. There wasn't even a guard. All of my weapons had been taken to the captain's cabin most likely, so they wouldn't be any help even if I did manage to get out.
If I had been bored on the Jackdaw I was even more bored here. There was nothing for me to do except for sit and stare around. I tried sleeping to make the time to by faster, but apparently I couldn't sleep if I wasn't knocked out.
"This is going to be a long trip," I muttered.
I couldn't tell how long it had been since I'd been first put in my little cell. I hadn't gotten any food and I was starving. They had only given me water. I was also starting to feel a little sick.
The trapdoor opened and a three people came down. One of them was the man who had pushed Raven into the ocean. I glared at them as they came up to the door of my cell.
They unlocked the door and pulled me out. They never said a word as they pushed me up the ladder onto the deck.
I squinted in the bright sunlight. I couldn't see anything.
"Welcome home daughter." I didn't need to be able to see to know it was my father. "Untie her. She won't try anything with me around."
"I wouldn't be so sure," I growled.
I still couldn't see very well, but I could feel the ropes being untied.
"Unless you found a way to break loose," my father said. "You won't try anything."
I wanted to punch him, or anyone else for that matter, but something held me back. I glared at him to make up for it.
My eyes had finally adjusted to the blazing sunlight. Two very familiar people stood on the street. The blended in perfectly with the crowds despite their assassin robes. They were watching carefully.
I remembered what Raven had told me back on top of the mast. 'Just remember, as long as you have friends close-by everything is easier.' A small smile formed on my lips. "Maybe not. But someone else might."

Hope you all enjoyed the chapter!Q&A
Okay this is really late but it was asked by Taalina (check out her book. It's awesome) for (I assume) me: I know that the Kenway 'family' is important, how many of them are there? And which is more known?
Me: There are three Kenways. Haytham, Connor, and Edward. As for which is most well known, I would have to say either Edward or Connor (but probably Edward).
No other questions but I'm happy to answer any that you have. Again sorry this is a late answer.
May the wind blow strong in your sails and fortune favor your blade!
