" Althea...its been a long time since you and Arci went separate ways...Have you Broke up with her already or had she? "
Althea was quiet. All of sudden her heart started to pain again. Why is it that even just a mention of her name give her a jolt of emotions.
She hate this thoughts and she hated Batchi for bringing it up again.
Its been a while since someone asked her about Arci. She still think about her and her thoughts still pained her. She needed to hide the truth, even infront of her bestfriends.
" Batchi...we have not seen each other for the last two years, we have no communication whatsoever...What do you think that means? "
" Well...yes..but I think you two should have a closure...atleast a clear ending...I mean she went away without saying goodbye..."
" Right...but maybe she is happy now...wherever she is...I have to move on...I dont intend to wait for her..."
" Really? Althea we've been friends since High School and somehow I find your statement hard to believe.." Batchi smiled at her but Althea knows that Batchi means what she just said.
" I dont know Batchi...I have decided that I will forget her..." Althea looked away, she cannot meet Batchi's eyes because she is not sure if she means the words coming out from her mouth.
" You know what Althea..I think you really should talk to Arci because its hard even though you are saying that you are over her, there will always be a part of you that will hold you from really moving forward...I think a proper closure is needed in any relationships.. Just a friendly advise.."
It was Sally who speaks this time. They know Sally as quiet and reserved but when she give her opinion, most of the time it put an end to the conversation.

It was almost 9PM and She's still in the office working. She was a bit startled when Sally suddenly appeared in her office.
" Ms Galura...It's 9pm already...Dont you have plans of going home?"
" Oh...you scared me...I'm just finishing something.."
" Althea...Go home...have a life..."
" Sally...please...just go.." Althea didn't look back at Sally, she just waved her hands.
" Ok...I'll go...bye ...don't stay long..." Sally was serious this time.
Althea look at her friend this time and gave her a sincere smile. Sally smiled back then waved goodbye.
She look again at her watch and its now 15 minutes past 9PM. She went back reading her emails. She reply to some of the urgents ones, write a few notes. At 9:45 she started to feel her head heavy. She realized that her body is giving her signal to take a rest. She put down the cover of her laptop, press her Hands on her eyes. Even her eyes are tired.
She look at her phone, She got 3 text messages. She open the message.
Hi! Its Jade..sorry to text you late. But i just want to tell you that i've talked to my Insurance and they will release the LOA to me by tomorrow. You can take your car to their accredited Shop or if you have a trusted repair shop let me know. I can work it out. Thanks!
