All My Love

Chapter IV- Start

Jade drive back to their house in Gilmore from Ortigas Center where she drop off Althea. She will stay with her parents this weekend.

It's been three years since she decided to live independently, She stays in 1 bedroom unit Condo in Global City.  Traffic was smooth she was able to reached their home in 20 minutes.  She was greeted by her Mom who was obviously pleased to see her.

Jade gave her Mom a big hug and a firm kiss on her cheeks.
" I miss you Mom..."

" I miss you too Princess"

" Where's Dad? "

" He went out with your Uncle, new business deal...he'll be back before dinner.."

" When is Dad gonna stop working? I mean he should be enjoying his retirement years..."

" Oh you know your Dad..just let him do what he wants...or maybe when you give us Grand Children then maybe we can both enjoy our retirement and be a Grand Parents "
Clara was smiling at Jade.

" Mom! Not me...I mean not in the next 5 years..."
Jade smiled widely at Clara. She exaggeratedly rolled her eyes.

" Jade...Anton is a good Man, We like him...tell me did he talked to you about Marriage?"
Clara's smile became serious.

" No...I mean...Yes...but Mom I'm not ready to get Married..."

" Jade my Darling..I really hope you will soon get married.."

Jade just smiled again at her Mother. She knows when her Mom mean what she say and there is no point arguing with the Queen of the House when her mood is like this.

In her mind she processed the thought that if ever Anton would asked her to marry him she would probably don't know what to say.  She liked the idea of A romantic proposal but not in the next 3 or 5 years. No she actually cannot see herself Married yet ...it scared her.

Three years? Does it give her enough reason to consider settling down with Anton. He loves him but does she love him enough to want spending the rest of her life with him? She remembered her conversation with Althea...

" Well maybe there is really no perfect relationship. For me commitment with the person plays an important role in any relationships. You. have to be committed to love, to accept , to understand ...you have to be committed to the relationship not only with the Person..."

Is she committed to her relationship with Anton? Is She committed to their Love? Not having a straight answer confused her more. Is she questioning herself now?

" Oh geez..."

Jade brushed off the thoughts. She is the type of a person that does not want to dwell on things and more so on thoughts that does not give her positive vibes, she conditions her mind to think positive all the time to a point that she become unrealistic sometimes.  She hate overthinking.

" Mom, I'll just go to my room, I'll see you at dinner..."

" Ok Sweetheart..."

Clara smiled at her daughter as Jade blow her a kiss. A gesture that Jade grew up with.

Althea went straight to her room and stretch her back on her bed. It was a long day, she felt tired but she was feeling light hearted. She took her phone and stared at it blankly then browsed at her messages that day. She got two messages from Batchi that she has not replied yet.
