Chapter VIII - Revelation

She moved to the shower. Her smile planted on her face. Its been along time that she felt this, she used to cry inside this small space...but now she is singing along with the music...strangely.

She is happy...

She smiled at her reflection in the mirror. She wears a black tapered pants and white longsleve, she slips on a 4 inch black stiletto. Her make up is light, she has no other accessories except for a pair of pearl earings
And an expensive wrist watch. She grab her bag and went out of her unit.

She was staring at Althea a little too long, she noticed the different glow on her face, she smiles a lot more today, She was joking during their meeting. There is something goin on with Althea, and as her nosy best friend...she will need to find out why...

She waited until everyone in the Meeting room was out before speaking to Althea

" Hey BFF had a good sleep last night?"
Batchi resting her back, her legs crossed, She was looking straight at Althea

" Hmmmn i was able to catch some sleep ...unexpectedly ...Yes i had a good sleep..."
Althea glanced at Batchi, while working on her laptop.

" You did take Jade home right? I mean to her home?" Batchi still resting but she moved her chair closer to Althea.

" Yes ! Ofcourse! To her home silly..."
Althea this time looked straight at Batchi

" What time? "
Batchi grinning.

" What time ..What?"
Althea's brows croooked this time. She put down her glasses.

" What time you reached Jade's home?"
Batchi still grinning.

" Around 1 am i think..."
Althea knows Batchi alot , she was trying not to show emotions, her face was blank.

" then?"
A wider smile now at Batchi's face...

" We had a short conversation ...then i fell asleep"
Althea not able to control her smile this time..

" uh ...you fell asleep?"
Batchi's voice become excited.

" Yes...So I stayed until morning"
Althea wanted to play it with Batchi. Her voice was happy.

" HOKAGE!!!"
Batchi blurted out. She gently tap the table..

" What? "
Althea was smiling at her

" I mean ...so..tell me what happened BFF? "
Batchi's smile was naughty.

" You know what....Batchi i dont get you...What are you trying to say?"
This time Althea went back working on her laptop. She was holding her laughter. She find Batchi nossy and funny.

" So what's with you and Jade now? "
She was smiling at Althea.

" Nothing...We're just friends..."
Althea replied without looking at Batchi

" For now? "
Batchi moved a little more closer to Althea

" Batchi ...we are just friends...okay...leave it that way...."
Althea looked at Batchi this time, her eyes widened.
