Winnipeg had showered rather quickly. She changed out of her tattered clothes and into the one's Spencer had left for her. It had been far too long since she had had on clean clothes, and it felt wonderful. She wadded up her old clothes and threw them in the waste basket. She definitely would not be wearing those again. She slowly opened the bathroom door to see if Spencer had left yet, he had. Still unsure of her new surroundings, she walked out quietly.

The dilaudid had left her system thanks to the genius Spencer Reid, but she couldn't help but crave more. Sadly, she didn't have more, so, to fulfill her cravings she decided to raid the refrigerator. The first thing that caught her attention was the gallon of milk, and suddenly she felt very thirsty. She opened each cabinet until she found the glasses. She pulled out the tallest one she could find and filled it all the way to the top.

As she drank she walked around the apartment. Bookshelves lined every wall. She scanned what was on each bookshelf but stopped when she came across one of her favorites, The Narrative of John Smith by Arthur Conan Doyle. She opened to the first page and began to read, going considerably slower than her normal pace. Every word was blurry, but it didn't matter, she had already memorized the book.

Soon an hour has gone by and Winnie turns the last page of the book. She gets up and places the book on the table. She might go back and reread it, after a snack of course. Just as she opened the fridge, a loud knock came from the front door. Winnie quickly and quietly checked the peephole. Two fuzzy figures stood outside of the door, one man and one woman, both with what she thought to be stern looks on their faces, but she couldn't tell because she couldn't see.

"Come on, Reid, open up." The man called. She took another look through the peephole, but it was useless. Winnie debated on opening the door. Eventually, she decided against it. This wasn't even her apartment. She barely knew Spencer. For all she knew these two could be bad guys. The last thought probably wasn't true but still, stranger danger. So Winnie decided no one was home. She was, but they didn't know that. So she walked back into the kitchen.

"Reid, I saw you look through the peephole." The woman called.

Damnit, Winnie thought. Well, what's the worst they could do? She continued to look through the fridge. It's not like they would break down the door.

CRASH! They broke down the door. Startled, Winnie dropped the glass of milk. Thankfully the glass didn't shatter, but milk went everywhere.

"FBI! Put your hands up!" Winnie immediately complied. The two agents stared at Winnie, assessing the situation. She was wearing Reid's clothes and going through his fridge. She wasn't robbing him, like Morgan thought. That was his excuse for breaking down the door. But truthfully, he just really like breaking things.

"Well I'll be damned." Morgan laughed, putting his gun away. Almost as if it were timed perfectly, Reid walked in.

"What the hell!" He yelled, seeing the broken down door. His arms were full of shopping bags. Reid looked up at his colleagues, Derek Morgan and Emily Prentiss. Winnipeg just stood there in a puddle of milk.

Reid quickly made his way to Winnipeg and handed her the many shopping bags, "Here, take this to the bathroom and get dressed." Spencer glared at Morgan.

"I spilt the milk." Winnie said in a whisper.

"I know. I'll clean it. You just get changed." He said. Winnie went into the bathroom with the bags.

"It looks like you haven't slept, Reid. What were you doing if you weren't sleeping?" Morgan hinted with a smile.

"Driving to Georgia." Reid said in all seriousness. Morgan's smile dropped.

"What were you doing back in Georgia?" Emily asked.

"You couldn't just leave it alone could you?" Morgan asked. Emily still looked lost.

"I knew she was real. I wasn't going crazy." Reid said, "She was dying and I saved her life and you were just willing to 'leave it alone'?"

"Is this about the other victim you saw?" Emily asked. She had known but wasn't as involved as Penelope, Aaron, or Morgan.

"Yes, and that's her." Reid said motioning toward the bathroom.

"Reid! You drove that girl here from Georgia?" Morgan saw the sleep deprivation in Reid's eyes and decided not to argue any further.

"You know we have to bring her in." Emily said.

"No, why? Tobias is dead." Reid said trying his hardest not to lose it.

Winnipeg was listening in from the bathroom as she changed. She looked at the clothes Spencer bought her. The bra fit surprisingly well, despite the fact that Reid hadn't asked her size. He had deduced her body size when he had carried her out of the house. The shirt was a plain button up blouse, though Winnie couldn't see it very well in the mirror. Her glasses have been missing for quite some time. She pulled up the plain underwear and then the jeans over that. She dug through the rest of the bags. Reid really thought of everything; socks and shoes, toothbrush and toothpaste as well as hair ties, chapstick and basic make up. She put on the socks and then the white van knock offs. Then she pulled her hair into a ponytail.

She brushed her teeth while she stared at herself in the mirror. Her hair was significantly longer than she remembered. Her face and body had also thinned out a lot. There were purple bags under her eyes. She also had many scars on the inside of her arm from all the needles. She finished brushing then opened the bag that had the make up. There was a stick of concealer, a powder foundation and a brush, and mascara. She covered the bags under her eyes then put some makeup on her arm. Winnie normally didn't use makeup but Reid had bought it for her and she didn't want to seem rude.

Everyone turned to Winnie once she emerged from the bathroom.

"Hi, I'm Derek Morgan. Sorry about scaring you earlier." Derek tried to smile but Winnipeg was too far away see anything other than blurs.

"That's okay. I'm Winnipeg Thompson." She didn't want to shake hands. Germs.

"Winnipeg, I'm Emily Prentiss. We need you to come down to BAU headquarters for some questions." Emily said lightly. Spencer didn't look pleased. Winnie only nodded.

"Can Spence come?" She asked. Spencer looked up. That was the first time she had said his name, and he liked the way it sounded when she said it. Winnie didn't mind going for questions, but she had had a rough couple of days and didn't really know anyone but him.

"Of course!" Emily said.

It was when they all walked out of the kitchen that Spencer noticed the book on the table, one of his favorites.
