Spencer climbed inside the broken window. Shards of glass covered the floor under his feet and made a crunch after every step. The house was only a single story tall. It was mostly empty on the inside except for some empty bottles and cans, and graffiti. The only piece of furniture was a tattered couch big enough for two people to sit, three if you squeezed.

Spencer looked around the house. Of the first and only floor there were three rooms, the kitchen, the living room, and a bedroom. All empty. Spencer was checking behind every door, in every closet. Eventually, he came across a door in the kitchen. It was next to the back door which had been boarded up. Reid slowly turned the handle. Stairs.

A dark stairway leading down. Spencer continued forward. With each step, he felt more and more dread. Every step down made a loud, Creak. He made it to the bottom and took out his flashlight.

The first thing he noticed with his flashlight was the light switch. He flicked it up and the lights came on. They weren't super bright but rather bright enough to see the whole room. And the unconscious girl lying in the far corner of the room. Reid ran to her side. He checked her pulse.

She's alive.

He looked at the needle in her hand, Dilaudid. There were several empty bottles of the stuff. She had overdosed on the narcotic painkiller. Reid had to act quickly if wanted to save her. He had to get it out of her system. He saw that she was hooked up to an IV. What was being fed to her through it he didn't know. For all he knew popping that bag could have just killed her, but he did it anyway.

He took out a small pocket knife that Morgan had given to him and sliced open the top of the bag. He quickly dumped out the contents and slit his wrists. He knew what he was doing. Reid's blood type was O-, the only blood type compatible with any person. He knew that he had to do a blood transfusion, to help dilute the drug presence in her system.

Blood poured out of his wrists and into the now empty IV bag. He bleed until it was full. Then he wrapped his wrists with cloth he tore from his shirt. This would take time. He knew it would work but it would take time. He carefully picked her up and the IV bag, and walked up the stairs. He carried her out of the window and back to his car. He tied the IV to the handle above the door and gently laid her down in the back seat. He got in the driver's side and started the car.

It was dark out now. He looked at his watch; 2am.

Perfect, He thought. I'll be home in time for lunch.

He sighed at the thought. Food. He had completely forgot about himself during his little adventure. Nine more hours won't kill him, he thought. Then he drove down the road.

The girl had woke 3 hours into their journey but had wanted to kept quiet until she knew she was no longer in danger. Soon the urge was too strong, she had to pee. So she broke her cover and asked to stop at a gas station. Spencer had been so surprised but her sudden un-unconsciousness that he had nearly swerved off the road.

Reid explained everything; From being kidnapped, to killing Tobias, to the IV. She had introduced herself as Winnipeg. Even though Reid had plenty of questions for her, he dared not ask. After that they didn't speak much except the occasional having to pee.

He drove straight home stopping only to use the bathroom and for coffee. He hadn't slept in forty-two hours so coffee was definitely a priority. By the time he made it home it was 11:24am and the girl was starting to stir. She had taken a nap, despite having been unconscious for quite a while.

"Hey, um, we're here." Reid said, not quite sure what to do next. They got out of the car and made their way up to Reid's apartment. He unlocked the door. Reid went into his room and came out with some of his clothes in his hands.

"Um, you can shower, if you want. Here are some clothes." He handed her the clothes and showed her to the bathroom.

"Thanks." She smiled.

"I've got to go out and get some stuff from my office. I'll also get you some proper clothes while I'm out. Um, you can help yourself to anything in the kitchen, and just make yourself at home, I guess." Reid gave a weak smile. She returned it, thanked him again, then closed the bathroom door.

Reid sighed, exhausted. He went to his room and changed out of his ripped, bloody shirt.

He made a mental list of the things he needed.

Clothes; shirts, pants, underwear, bra. He also needed his bag from work. He had been so frustrated with Hotch when he left, he forgot to get his bag. He certainly didn't want anyone at work to look through it. It still had bottles of diluadid in it, and a ton of sketches of Winnipeg. Anyone who'd find it would think he's going crazy. So Spencer decided that that's what he would pick up first.

Spencer drove down to the BAU headquarters and parked. He wasn't supposed to be here. Aaron had given him a week off because of everything he had been through. He quickly ran inside. He wanted to get back to Winnipeg as well. He didn't want to leave her alone again. He got in the elevator and pressed the button. Hopefully everyone will be out on a case so they won't have to see him, but he had no such luck.

The elevator doors opened with a ding. Spencer took a look around. It looked like the team was in the briefing room.

Perfect

Reid stealthily made his way over to his desk and grabbed his bag.

"Hey." Reid jumped. "I told you to get some rest." Aaron stood behind Reid.

"Yeah, I was just getting my bag." He wasn't lying. He felt so nervous, but he wasn't lying. Spencer looked away. Aaron's gaze fell to where Spencer was looking, his wrists. Spencer had properly wrapped them when he had gotten home, he had even put on a long sleeve shirt, but Aaron still saw the gauze poking out.

"Spen-" Spencer walked away, leaving Aaron to his thoughts of how or why Spencer could do such a thing. Thinking about it more made Spencer even more angry at him. Not only had Hotch dismissed the idea of another victim, he had jumped to false conclusions upon seeing Spencer's wrists. Reid tried to calm himself down. He took a few deep breaths and then drove away.
