When I will me head toward her throbbing neck,
I feel nothing.
She sits breathless, the choking breaths speak,
more than words.
Dry tears soak the bottom of her pure, stressed t-shirt,
I feel nothing.
Her amber hair spread near me, like wild fire, blinding.
Smell of rust, and falling autumn leaves simmer to the surface, as she lay motionless.
Her blood thickened strands burn the heat of my touch,
nothing.
Her ocean filled eyes seep sorrows distance, staring through me
The end of despondency glimmers on her escaping tear,
falling.
Like the ocean, sweeping away the motion,
no trace -
of the tattoo itched behind, exasperatedly frayed away.
I stand, no more than a second thought of the girl I leave,
alone.
Her shattered heart rearranged on her sleeve,
I leave.
With words that once spoke of 'forever',
Slowly dismantled by the depth of her trembling mouth,
I leave.
Her heart sink through the shallow ground,
Never to love, never to trust again.
'Forever', would she be lost.K.G
