Crawling through
It creeps, creaks, and lurks
Frightened at every
Corner
Clawing it's way through
With each speck of
Light
A glimpse
Burned out
In black flames.
He's clawing through
My knocking chest
I'm trying to-
Not let it through.
Stronger now
The screams Pearce;
They echo-o in my lungs
But no one hears
with a mouth sewn shut
And a heart grown cold.
Embodied me now;
Taken over completely
Surrounding me
I used to be the girl
Standing tall
Not so small;
A small rap on my chest;
Nothing more.
Seared and scoured
By their lingering words,
Now so small,
Barely even -
alive.K.G
