There's something that shakes me to my core more than death, and more than losing someone you love. Because those things aren't as hard, as watching someone you love lose. Losing someone isn't as bad; because you can always remember them full, a beating heart, warm.
But when you see someone lose their will to live, watch someone drained of all the warmth and happiness they once had, to turn into a mess of freezing ice, that's the real tragedy.
It's heartbreaking to lose someone close to your heart, in death, it's painful, never being able to see them again.
but it's utterly devastating, ground shaking, To see someone lose themselves and their strength to be saved,
And still have to suffer in the world, alive, but not living.K.G
