A/N: Hello Reader! I know it doesn't take this long for a story and I am sorry for the long wait but here is Chapter 33. The next chapter will be the last chapter so that's a heads up to all of you. I don't know how many times I can thank you all for reading and enjoying (hopefully) my book. I haven't edited anything of this so once I'm done, I'll go through it and edit it and then have someone else edit it for me. To the right is Connor's father. It took me forever to find something I was okay with so thank you again. Enjoy!

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE

{Connor's POV}

      Good thing Maria was with Eryn. After her contact about them being safe I was already at the end of the woods, still sniffing out any rogue smell but there was nothing I caught. Drayden even searched near Dante and Santana's old place for any smell but not even an ounce of it was sout out. I tried to get in contact with Eryn but she wasn't responding which was a little weird. Usually she would have spoken back. I met back up with Drayden near the town and he didn't get a scent coming back this way.

                      "What did Maria say?" he asked me.

                      "She just told me she smelt Rogues in the area. I contacted her about twenty minutes ago, she's with Eryn."

                      "It's like Maria to get rowdy about nothing." Drayden admitted and then that's when Maria contacted me again,

                     "Connor! They took Eryn . . . Dante and his goons took Eryn!" The words hit me hard and I looked at Drayden as he gave me a weary look, wondering what was wrong.

                      "They have Eryn!" I said but didn't wait there long enough for Drayden to wonder anything else. I was already running towards the house. I quickly contacted Kenny and Troy, telling them to stake out the town because Dante had been at my place and took Eryn. In minutes I was in the front of the door to my house and pushing the mahogny door open and that's when I entered into a house that looked like a tornado had hit. The strong smell of rogue and Dante was in the air and I called out for Maria. A muffled sound from the kitchen made me run over to it as Drayden stepped in after me. I found Maria beaten up and leaning against the refrigerator door. I quickly sat her up,

                     "What happened? Where's Eryn?" I asked but watching as some of her wounds started to heal.

                    "Eryn opened the door not knowing who it was and Dante and Andrus and . . . And Angel burst through the door, attacking us. I tried to ward them off but I was no use. Angel and Andrus beat me up real bad but Dante took Eryn. I don't know where they went but I know they took off towards the main road because Dante said something about heading back to the cabin." I stared at Maria suspiciously because she told me everything was okay and then I couldn't get a hold of Eryn telepathically which was even more weird. But she was gone and Maria looked bad. I helped her up and told Drayden to head back to the town,

                    "You stay here Drayden. Maria will show me the way and . . ." Maria stopped me,

                    "I think it's better if you and Drayden went. I can help the others but I'm no match for the rogues." she said and I had to think about it for a moment before agreeing with her. She had fully healed as Drayden and I sniffed out the area and she was right, they took off towards the main street. She headed back to the town as Drayden and I took off towards the main street. She mentioned something about a cabin and that's when it clicked. The only cabiin I knew about was the one Dante and I grew up in in the next city. That had to be the one she was talking about so I let Drayden know where we were going. He followed behind as we ran in human form. The main road wasn't really clustered with cars so it was okay for us to run in full speed. It took a good ten minutes to get the cabin located just in the middle of the woods of the next city. Dante's smell and Eryn's smell was strong but there was another smell that was a bit weak but familiar but I wasn't  focused on the smell when I heard Eryn scream and in seconds, I was through the door of the cabin as Drayden was behind me and as we entered the cabin Eryn was tied up in a chair in the middle of the cabin. The cabin hadn't changed at all, the logged counches where still set around the fire place as the antlers of of the antelopes Dante and I hunted long ago still hung above the mantle place.
