A/N: Hello Readers. Thank you all for comments (whether good or bad) likes and reads. I really do appreciate it. I try to keep up with writing and reading everything on this book. I know I've kind of veered off of the whole mating with your mate or losing your mate but I'm going to stick with it and continue on. This book wasn't thought of at all until my sister came to me and introduced me to Wattpad. I've never thought about making a werewolf book but since I've started reading a few on Wattpad and knew my sister was in love with werewolves, this book came to mind once I signed up with Wattpad. But I've fallen in love with the two main characters Connor and Eryn. Again, didn't even know what to name my characters until I googled cute names and thought those two were cute. Any who, I do thank you all for reading again and I hope you've all continued to keep reading. I'm almost completely done with it and yes this is my FIRST book I'll actually be completeing. Enjoy!

P.S. To the right is Eryn's mother. I'll have a picture of her father in the next chapter and then Dante's and Connor's parents in the next chapters.

CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

The silence from the pack was hard to fanthom. It felt like a years worth of silence. What were they thinking? I know I was feeling a bit left out. But would it be hard for the pack to trust him again? Brody was silent himself but what was any of us to think. It was Drayden who broke the silence,

"Why did Dante hide the truth of what happened to Santana? If he tried to protect you from what happend why did he go Rogue?" From the looks of everyone's faces they wanted to know the same thing. Connor didn't change his expression as he answered,

"I believe he held it against me until he went rogue and felt as if he wanted to seek revenge. Even when I told him about our parents and what was going on he didn't believe me. Since George wasn't anywhere in the area and I had the blood of my parents and Santana on me he couldn't bring himself to believe me." I looked over to Maria who had a look of shock on her face. I wouldn't her for feeling however she was feeling because she didn't seem to know that her own father had killed Connor's parents and her own sister try to excuse their fathers doing. Troy then stood up and I noticed his hands were formed into fists,

"What does that have to do with killing Caine? Caine was-" he broke his words have, choking on them as he tried to keep the tears from coming out. Kenny walked over to him and set a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. My eyes forced it's way away from the body that laid on the floor of our living room. The smell was starting to linger and Brody could probably smell it already. He got up and walked over to the body, knealing down,

"Whatever the hell happened in the past should be left in the past. Right now, you should all be sending Caine back to his family. It isn't my choice if Eryn goes or not. It's her choice, not your's either and if I have to fight you or lose my life to have her stay because she doesn't want to go I will." Brody's eyes targeted Connor and Connor returned the glare. I now stood and knelt down to where Brody was,

"I'm going. Not because of Connor and not because of you but because of Caine. I want to be there for his funeral and to pay my respects." I had made up my mind after Connor told his story and I didn't want to see anyone fighting over me going or not. At this moment, me being a sorceress had to be put to the side and if the headaches came again I would just have to be away from everyone. This would work right? I was really asking myself this but at the moment, their pack is what I was worried about and the threats weren't just fibs, Connor's brother meant business and I was part of it. Brody at first didn't say anything but then a small smile spread across his face and he nodded,
