Oh my god! I haven't had real food in what feels like forever. Well I am not sure McDonald's could be considered real food. Remington laughs. I swallow what is in my mouth.

"Why are you laughing," I ask.

"Because I have never seen a girl eat like you, especially with your size!" Remington laughs.

"Well, I know I am a little below average height but I didn't eat that much," I smile trying to stop myself from laughing.

"You ate two chesseburgers, large fries, my fries, and four peice chicken nuggets. Most girls I have met can barely finish a small salad," Remington smiles.

"And I am still hungry." We both burst into laughter. I look out the car window out to the McDonald's parking lot. Then I turn back to Remington who is still laughing.

"You are truly a girl of the highest caliber, Miss...." Remington smiles but he drops his smile," I don't know your name."

"Well then I shall properly introduce myself, I am Miss Violet Way of Los Angeles," I smile. A pause.

"And I Mr. Remington McGinnis of Portland...but you can call me Remy," He smiles.

"Well, I am pleased to meet you Mr. Remy," I smile as I hold out my hand. Remington grabs it.

"As am I Miss Violet," Remy smiles as he shakes my hand. We let go of our hands. Then something pops into my mind. I look down at my lap.

"May I ask you something," I quietly ask.

"Sure go ahead," Remy smiles.

"How did you know that man," I mumble as I look up at Remy. His face has dropped and he appears shocked. Then sad. He looks out the window.

"It is kinda a long story," He mumbles.

"I've got time," I smile as I place my feet on my seat. I wrap my arms around my legs.

"That man was my uncle," Remy sighs,"I was staying at his house to help him with stuff around the house. I never knew anything was going on. I heard screaming on night. A girl, you, screaming. I asked him why there was screaming. He just said that it was in my head and that pretty soon he would have a lot of money. I never knew that he kidnapped you. I am so sorry, so so sorry. That night you were strapped on the table, I just thought he wanted me to clean up an oil spill or something. I am so sorry."

Remy started to sob. So there was someone who heard me scream. I grabbed Remy's hand and held it for a while.

"Shh. It's alright. What you did once you found out about me was great, probably saved my life! Even if you could've saved me sooner, doesn't matter. The past is the past. You can't change that," I say in a hushed voice. Remy calms down and slows his breath. He isn't sleeping.

"You know we got 12 hours left to go right," Remy asks.

"Yeah, so why don't you ask me something," I smile.
