-"So? You simply let that man go for all you cared?"- said Penelope.

Crina, Rodica, Dacia and Penelope sat at the dinning table that night. Rodica rolls her eyes while Dacia simply sighed.

-"Look, Pen. We can't just do a big issue to that man. He was Dorin's father as well. If we torture him to death we'd be doing the same thing he did to those women. All we have to do is finish capturing all the people involved in this mess"- said Dacia while she took a sip of her water.

Penelope groans as she drops her fork on the plate.

-"For God's sake, Dacia. What kind of alpha are you? You're a damn disgrace"- spits Penelope.

-"Listen, Pen. Your job as the eldest to represent the rest of the human clan, not meddle into the pack's affairs. I'm not doing anything that can harm your petty reputation"- Dacia was getting tired of Penelope's cruelty.

-"Listen here, lilttle pup. I'm older than you and also your relative. Lower those smokes in your wild brain, sweetie"-

Dacia stands up and walks towards Penelope, grabs her by the hair and then pushes her against the floor. Rodica and Crina both gasp at the scene. The utensils fell on the floor and one of the plates shattered.

-"You think this is all a petty game? Do you know how much responsibility all this is?! If you were under both responsibilities you'd be going crazy! Why do you think dad was always frustrated?! These past decades have being a hassle to the whole clan! If I can manage to clean up my side peacefully, the human side you control will be easier to manage. Can't you work with me instead of against me?"- said Dacia trying to hold her fury.

Dacia simply talkes a deep breath and walks away. Penelooe fixes the hem of her dress and then her hair.

-"You see? That girl's aggressive!"- said Penelope.

Crina simply stood up and walked towards her daughter.

-"If you knew she's doing this for you. Doing anything wrong would ruin you. You are married to a Bucur man, remember?"- said Crina while she gave her daughter a light pat on her shoulder and walked away.

Rodica simply shakes her head, stands up and marched away. Penelope was left completely alone. Penelope frowns as she noticed that no one agreed with her at all. It was so frustrating. Everyone would always believe her actions were incorrect.

. . .

-"She's what now?"- said Penelope while washing the dishes back at her house while her husband read a book on the dinning table.

-"That's what the clan's been buzzing about lately. Apparently your sister proposed to Dorin"- said her husband while placing the newspaper on the table and resting his chin on his hand. "Isn't that great though? Those two lovebirds are finally doing something about their awkward relationship "

-"Isn't that kid son of that William guy?"-

-"So? That kid had nothing to do with that, Penelope. That's like saying your mother got mad with someone and killed him and people blame you for being her daughter"-

-"Hey...that's unfair"-

-"Its the same for him. Besides, this will be good for both clans. We are talking about someone making history here, Pen. She's an alpha and he's an omega"-

Penelope gripped her skirt as if trying to contain her anger. Everything was always associated with her younger sister. Good or wrong, Dacia was either the hero or the smart one. Nothing she ever did seemed to be enough. She walks away and heads to her son's room. He's sleeping peacefully. She caresses his headm. Deep inside she wished he'd be a wolf too so she could shut everyone up...but everything for her were mere dreams.
