Chapter 6

King Igneel's POV
I was walking down the hall to talk to Lady Lucy about her new found gifts wen I walked in and saw.........her and Natsu's in the room kissing! They looked at me and I looked at them. What the hell is going on here. I asked them. Well.....ummm. We were ummm. Natsu started but could not get the words to form. We were kissing sir. Lucy said to me. I apologize sir, I know I was in the wrong. But.....
But? But what? I asked and this time Natsu covered for her. But she is my girlfriend and I kissed her first, so not get mad at her get mad at me, father.
Why would I be mad at you? You have finally found a girlfriend and possibly a wife?!
REALLY?!! Lucy and Natsu both said.
Dad why would you bring that up, I'm only 18. That is why I brought it up. You have to be married at age 21 in order to be king.
Lucy's POV
Wait. I'm no read for such a big step. We only started dating last night. When do you want him to get married?
In one year at least. King Igneel said. I looked at him as like saying "thank the gods" look and he smiled at me and said that I will be his wife in one year. Me and Natsu thanked him before he asked Natsu to leave the room. I looked at him and asked why. Because I need to talk to you about your new found gifts. Yes sir I understand.
King Igneel's POV
You must know that your new gift is one of the most beautiful but dangerous of all. You must master it and take care of it, because if not it can and/or will turn on you or even use you. That is why I ask you to never think of it as a tool but of something that you love and will cherish, something or somewhat like family.
I understand sir but they are like my family I feel like someone is missing from them. There is the aura that reminds me of someone but I don't remember who. Do you have any idea who it could be? Lucy asks me.
That dear I can not tell. I was instructed be a special someone who said not to tell you of that person. When the time comes you will be ready to meet this person and gain your full power, but until that day comes you shall train and get stronger.
What can I do to get stronger other then training with Erza and Mira because I don't always want to have a new cut and mark on my body every time I come back. Lucy said. Well you could alway train with Natsu.
I will except this offer, I will get stronger to keep the kingdom safe. But sir can Natsu fight?
Lucy said.
Yes my son can fight, that is one of the first things they teach you when you are of the age and when you can start to hold a sword. Now sorry for taking up this much time but training starts tomorrow and dinner should be ready by now. Yes sir. She said before heading out to the main hall.
Natsu's POV
I was waiting for Lucy to come out to eat dinner. When she came out she had a happier look in her eyes and she ran up to me. She blow my mind because she never acted like this before. I look at my dad and he told me that I would be helping her train for now on. Well me and my friend would be anyways. I'm not fighting her alone, I don't want to die just yet!!
I'm heading to dinner with my father and Lucy. But with was different because Lucy was walking behind me and my father like she has to keep up her guard or something.
Are you ok? I ask her. Yah I just since something that smelled familiar that made me remember something in my past that's all. Lucy said as she keep looking around like something was going to pop out and attack someone.
We made it to dinner and we all sat down and ate. This is really good I hear my father say to Wendy and the other cooks. Thank you they all said.
After dinner was done I was walking to my room with Lucy. When we finally got there I asked her to sit down on my bed. When she sat down I finally asked her a question that I had been thinking about all day. Lucy do you love me for me or for what I am?

 Lucy's POV

I love you and everything about you. You found a way to make me smile and act like a girl again some how. You helped me she the good in somethings again. But I don't know what I will tell my sister because I don't hide thing from her. But I Kiev you and you alone. I care if your a prince or even the king I would still love you. I will fight with you and get mad but I will never leave you.
I would like to know how you could love me after everything that I had done on my past. How did you come to love this monster in a shell.
I could see that not meant people would come mere you let alone like you, so I wanted to be the one to change that and instead of becoming your friend I became something better. I get to spend the rest of my life with you. That is how I can to love the person you call a monster. I love you and you alone. He said?
No ones POV
He leaned in and kisses Lucy. The kiss turns into something more. Lucy told him not yet because she was still new to the kissing thing. He nodded and they stayed at the waste and above. What's wrong? Lucy asks Natsu. He was just siting there like something bad had happened. Hmm. Oh, nothing. I was just thinking about what would happen in a year. What life would be like and what we would be like. Natsu said like he was worried that something would come between us. Don't think about that and see what is happening right now. Lucy told him although she was thinking about it a little to.
What do you think life will be like when we get married Natsu asked. I don't know but I hope that we can have a good life and maybe a family? Lucy said like she was asking a question. I would like that a lot. Natsu said with the biggest, happiest grin ever.
Lucy's POV
The way he smiles makes me happy and I just smile back at him.
Natsu's POV
I love her laugh and smile to the point where that is all I ever want to see on her beautiful face. I love her so much and all I want for her is to be happy. That is just what I will do. That is how much I love her.
