Guarding The Royal

Chapter 13

Recap: I see the kitchen ladies all looking at me and then I see Erza walk into the room, all the women get back to work but I could still feel them looking at me.I quickly get to my station and get to work. 

"Good Morning Wendy" I hear someone say to me. I turn around to see Erza and Ms.Mira standing there. "Good Morning Ma'am" I say to them in a respectful tone. Mira looked at me and asked "Do you want to do some training today?" I look at them with wide eyes and the happiest face ever. "YES! I would love to train!" I squealed at them.

Wendy's POV

We begin to walk out of the kitchen when I hear one of the kitchen maids say "They should lock her up for what happened last night." It appears that Ms.Mira heard as well. "Exsus me, I will be right back. I will catch up to y'all when I'm done." Ms.Mira say with a beautiful smile on her face as she walks to the maids. Ms. Erza and myself keeped walking to where ever she would lead me. We walk through the halls of the palace without talking much. 

"Ms.Erza where exactly are we going? I've never seen this part of the castle." I ask her but also say about my surroundings as I look around at the walls and windows that we pass. "We are going to a special training room. In this room you can used as much power as you want and it wont destroy anything, and it's also it the most peaceful place in the whole palace." She say to answer my question. 

"The reason why you haven't seen this part of the palace is because only those that have been trusted to come in this part are few. Not even our maids clean these halls. Mira, Natsu and I are the only ones that are able to clean back here." She says to me with a small smile on her face. "Isn't that a lot of work on top of all y'all other duties?" I ask.

"No not for all of us. Natsu has more responsibilities than the rest of us but that's because he is to be king in less then a year. Mira and myself don't we have that many. See we only have to train the royal guard and those who poses special abilities, as Lucy and yourself. We also have to clean this place but other then that we don't have to do anything else." Erza replies back to me. "Wow. Thats cool. I wish I could be like you." I say to Ms.Erza. 

"One day you will be. Just don't rush it, okay little one?" She asks me. "Okay, I won't." I say with a big smile on my lips.

Mira's POV

I started to walk over to the maids that were talking about Wendy. I was so angried thats someone could even be this disrespectful in Erza and mine's presence. "Good morning Madam Mirajane." I hear the maids say as I walk past them all. I nod my head to them. I finally walk up to the two maids that said those awful things about Wendy. "Good morning ladies. What were you two just talking about. I say with a smile on my face. 

"Oh, nothing just talking about our job, that's all Madam." They try to say to me. "Oh, is that so. So you two weren't just talking about Lady Wendy?" I ask them with a sweet voice. They begin to look at each other and then they say "LADY WENDY! We thought she was just a maid like the rest of us. We deeply apologize for how we treated her." They say in union while bowing continuously.

"Let me just say one thing to you AND THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU, if y'all ever think about doing anything or even say anything to her that is disrespectful to Lady Wendy again, you will have to deal with me personally. YOU GOT THAT?!" I yell at them with complet rage in my voice now. "YES MA'AM!" They all say in union. "Good. Thank you. See everyone at breakfast. Have a nice morning." I say with a sweet voice and a smile on my face as I leave the room.  

'I should go catch up to Wendy and Erza now that that's settled.' I think to myself as I start walking down the halls. While I walk down the halls I hear some of the guards talking about something, so me being me, I started to listen in on the conversation they were having. 

"Have you heard?" One of them said. "Heard what?" The other said. "The prince he's getting engaged to that new guard of his." "What, really, when?" "I heard that is would be by his next birthday, but that's what I've heard." "Wow but isn't she and her sister one of the most wanted in Fiore?" "I guess they have a clean slate now." When I heard that I started to walk away. 

I finally made it to the training room where Wendy and Erza were at. "Hey. I'm back, sorry it took so long. I got caught up with talking to someone." I say to them with a happy voice. "Okay, so what would you like for me to do?" I hear Wendy say. "We can start right now if you would like?" Erza said to Wendy. "Okay. Thank you for this. And I would love to start now." Wendy thanks us with a smile. "It's no problem, we don't mind and plus it kinda our job." I say to her.

Erza's POV

I look at how determined Wendy looks and then at Mira. "Okay, follow this was and we will start. But you can't trainin what your wearing. We will have to find you something else." I say to Wendy as I look her up and down. "Okay. I can change what would you like me to change into?" Wendy asks with a bright eyed smile as she looks up to Mira and myself. 

"Mira, you have a better find for things like this. Would you help her find something to wear?" "Yeah, sure thing. I love clothes. Come on Wendy." She says as she takes Wendy's hand. Wendy is pulled to the dressing rooms with a smile on her face. 'I wonder why she's smiling?' I think to myself. 

Wendy's POV

'This is going to be fun.' I think to myself.  I sit on the bench in the room Ms.Mira dragged me into. "What do you think about this, it looks like something you would wear?" I hear Ms.Mira ask me. it was a dark blue form fitting take top and some black spandex that had a blue and purple pattern on the trim, with some black running shoes. 

"Oh my Mavis, I love them. Are you sure I can wear them?" I ask in fear of messing them up. "Of course you can wear them!" Ms.Mira say to me in a very happy voice. I smile with happiness as I take the clothes from her and turn to go into the changing room. "Hey. Wendy, why would did you look so happy to do this with me?"

I hear her through the current. Just thinking about it made me frown. "You should tell her she could happy you with things like this. Things that you and Lucy never did together." I hear Grandeeney say. I smile softly. "Its because Lucy and I never do this and I've always wanted to do things like this." I say as a great big smile comes to my face. I walk out if the changing room with my clothes on and ask "Well, how do u look?"

Ms. Mira looks at me with a small smile and says "You looks perfect. They really suit you nicely and you know if you ever want to do anything like this, we could do it together and just drag Lucy and Natsu along with us?" I look at her and my smile widens. "YES! OMG YES! I would love to do that with you."
