Guarding The Royal

Chapter 11

Lucy's POV 

Natsu finally comes back to the room and I see that he has a worried look in his eyes. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked him. He looked at me and just said "I just had a talk with my dad ats all, nothing to worry about." as he smiles at me. "Okay if you say so but something's bothering you and I'm gonna find out." I say to him as I stand up to pull him off the bed pillow. He looks at me like at me as if I'm a mad man "What are you doing to the bed?"

"I'm pulling you off of the big bed pillow because I don't need all these pillows while I'm sleeping." I say to him.  "Hey Lucy,what was your life like in your village when you were younger?" Natsu asks me. "Why do you ask?" I say  back confused as to why he would ask that. " I was just wondering because of something you said awhile back in the garden." I look at him as if asking him 'why'. 

"When we were in the garden that one day after your training you told me that when you where only 13 your parents died, you were left to raise your sister and yourself, along with watching over your village. You did this all on your own without anyone's help and yet now that you have the chance to get help you still wont ask for it, why is that?" Nastu ask's me. I turn my head away from him and then say "Because the last time I asked for help the ones I loved the most died because we were not keeping watching. So now when I need to do something, I do it on my own even if its to much for me." I say with a few tears escaping my eyes.

Natsu looks at me with warmth and love in his eyes. "Lucy that wont happen ever again because you have me and everyone else here." Natsu says to me trying to make me feel better. You said you wanted know what life for me was like in the village as a child?" I say said/asked. He looked at me and nodded but had eyes full of worry as if telling me its okay if you don't want want to tell me. "When I was still in the village and a child I was happy for what I can remember, until the fateful my mother and father where murdered by the Sabertooth Gang. That was when I became the person I am now, the cold beast, the Devil as many would have called me." 

Natsu then looked at me but then asked "Why would you say that you "a cold beast or people called you a Devil?" I was scared for the first time sense I was 13 years old. "Because I would kill people if they did my sister or myself wrong, I would would have Wendy still from people so we could eat or have clothes, and I had been doing this sense I was 14 years old. So people thought that we were 'children' of the Devil." I said to him. Natsu had this look of something I've seen in the eyes of everyone I've ever come across; horror and as if I were a monster. 

I look away and was about leave the room when I when I felt something or someone grab my wrist, it was of cores Natsu. I tried to pull away but it was no use because of how strong his grip was on me. Natsu looked up at me and said "Why were you about to leave?" I look up at him with surprise as to why he would ask me that. "Lucy don't be scared or upset about anything you have ever had to do in this life you have been given. You did what you needed to do to keep you and your sister alive and well." Natsu told me. 

"But you looked at me as if I were a monster earlier. Why would you do that you think I did that to survive?" I asked him. "I didn't look at you as if you were a monster, I looked at you like that because you told me the thing you feared the most to ever tell anyone." Natsu said to me. I lost all felling in my body, I fell to knees, and started to silently cry into the floor. Natsu looked at me as if telling me to come here. I got off the floor and sat on the bed while silently weeping but got quiet because I just remembered that Wendy was asleep. Natsu put his arm around me as he was laying down taking me with him in the process. I started to rolled over so that we were facing each other. 

I was looking at Natsu thinking of why Natsu wanted me to tell him about my past. What good does knowing my past help him. What is it that he's trying t find out.

I started to fall asleep while thinking about my past. 

Lucy's Dream

While Lucy was asleep she was seeing visions of this other world. She sees her family leaving some kingdom and going through a portal looking thing. But her mother was talking to someone that looks to be a man but not a normal man. This man is much larger in height and is glowing a blueish color. When her mother was done talking to the man she quickly ran through the portal to the rest of her family, she said something in a different language that Lucy couldn't understand. Then the family started walking to this village full of people that seemed to be confused about something and Lucy's mother Layla said that they would watch over this village and protect and love them. That's then the village excepted them head of the village. 

Lucy Wakes Up/ Second Person's POV

When Lucy wakes up she sees that Natsu is not in the room with her. She starts to look around the room and then she see Wendy sleeping in the window seal, Lucy goes over to the window to move When over to her bed. When she is done doing that she is going to the door when she hears voices right outside of it. She starts to listen to then and realizes that it is two male voices. One of them being Natsu's but she can't tell who the other voice belongs to. 

While she is listening she hears this "You know you can't tell her about the Celestial World or about her passed or else you could mess things up for their world." The unknown voice says to Natsu. "I know but if I keep this hidden from her them how will we know if she will remember anything about her life in the world." Natsu say to the unknown person. "We wont and we will just have to find out when the time comes for them to remember what they were before they came to our world, and that's the end of it." The unknown person said.

She notices that the both of the men became silent and she hurries back to her bed and acts to be asleep. Natsu walks back into the room and goes over to Lucy's bed and says "I know your not asleep." in a slight whisper in her ear. Lucy rolls over with wide eyes and says "How did you know?"
