Guarding The Royal

Chapter 9

Unknown POV

I see now, this girl is apart of the family but where is the other child at, why is she not with her. We have to go if we want to know our next move. "Sting we have to go NOW. I say without emotion. He looks at me and says "Uh, Why? I'm just starting to have fun." He says with a sinister grin on his face.

 The girl looks at me with eyes that say 'What-The-Fuck'. This is going to be harder then I thought, I'm starting to wish she did not use that power she has, cause now Sting is ready for a fight. I thought. "Sting we have to go before we get coughed.

" Sting looked my way and this time he got up and started to walk away but said something "Next time you see me be ready to fight, got that Blondie." He said with a glare. 

No One's POV

When sting said that all Lucy could do was think 'Why? Why would he want to fight her and where they there to try and kill her and her sister?!' Everything was happening so fast that she did not even know someone was behind her and when she did she realized it was just Natsu and relaxed a bit.

"Hey Lucy whats wrong why are you so tens?" Natsu asked. 'Should I tell him?' Lucy started to think. "Um Lucy are you oh?" Natsu asked. "Oh, yeah I'm sorry I was just thinking about something. What would you do if someone attacked you and said something about your past that you did not know, how would you fell? Better yet what would you do?" Lucy asked with what some would think is worry but Natsu, well he thought she was just curiosity. 

"Well if it were in that predicament the way I would feel is most likely anger and happy because I know I have enemies but I would be happy because people don't think I can do things for myself because I am a prince, but at the moment they try to strike me I would show them that they were wrong about me." Natsu said with cheeky grin on his face.

"But what if something like that were to happen to me or my sister? What would I have to do to keep her and myself safe. And would I be able to keep us and you safe? I don't know what to do." Lucy said. "Lucy is there anything you want to tell me? You look scared and i mean to the point to where you are as white as snow. Whats wrong?" Natsu asked with worry in his voice. Lucy looked up at him with tears in hers eyes and a frown on her face. "I-I thi-ink you shou-should know thi-is," she started. "The-there wh-ere two bo-boys here an-and one o-of them said-said that th-the next time I-I would see hi-him be ready to-to fight" She continued and her sobbing went down some. 

"And he said that he was one of the people that killed my mother and father." She said starting to loose the sadness that turned into anger. " The other boy said something about my sister and I being the light or something like that. But before that I used this different kind of magic/gift, all I did was think of the light and it came out of no where and that's when I saw the boy that was in the shadows, hiding. And before they left they said that there master would be mad if they did not report back to him. These people where from Sabertooth Guild and I know that because the blond one said that he once again was one of the people to kill my sister ad mine parents." Lucy said with sad, worry, anger in her voice and a horrified expiration on her face.

"Lucy, when did this happen?" said Natsu with anger in hid face and voice. It made her flinch but she gave him what he wanted. "A few minutes before you got here" she said. He looked at her like she was crazy or something. "Why did you not yell or something, someone would have heard you and would have come and helped." Natsu said. "You don't think I tried that he grabbed me and put a hand over my mouth, so even if I had tried to yell foe help no one could have heard me. And when I got out of his grasp I punched in the face. I did do what I could but no I did not yell for help or anything of the sort. " She said. 

"Okay but you said one of them was a blond and the other hid in the shadows right?" Natsu said. "Yeah. Why?" Lucy asked. "Because I might know them."He said. Natsu had a look of hatred in his eyes but Lucy did not know why or how come. All she knew was that the look on his face said he disliked the people that Lucy had described to him. 

"Lucy if you ever come in contact with them again try not to do anything rash and don't talk to them, don't even look at them, because the blond boy is like a crazy person that will try and fight anyone that looks at him. The boy that was hiding in the shadows can make a stagy with in minutes of the problem that's going on. They are also the Twin Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth. There magic/gift is like mine but their's is a different form of it. Sting's is Light Dragon Slayer and Rogue is Shadow Dragon Slayer." Natsu said .

"Yeah but what if one of them or even both of them come up to me? What do I do then?" Asked Lucy. "Well then you would have to get out of the situation as sudle as possible or fight. But try and be sudle first if possible." Said Natsu. "Okay. I will do my best." Said Lucy.

Natsu's POV

"Lucy until we find out what is going on I'm going to be staying in your room with you and your sister." I said. Lucy looks at me like I'm going crazy and then she said "But how are we going to explan why your in my room and not in your room?" She said.
"We'll tell the that it was to keep me safer if anyone asked." I said. She looked at me as if my head was on fire.

"Lucy I will keep your sister and you safe at any coasts-" I was  cut off by Lucy. "No you will not do anything at any coast because if you die keeping me safe, everyone will be in any out rage with me, and I don't need that." Then she gave me a kiss on the check, then left. I was about to yell for her to get back here when I heard someone yell at someone.

I went to go check it out only to see Wendy had dropped a dish. One of the kitchen maids where yelling at her and telling her that she was useless and had no right to be in the palace. That's when I was about to walk in but something happened that I've never seen before.
