Guarding The Royal

Chapter 3

Erza's POV
Mira and I will be training Lucy and giving her a gift. We were told by a old man that there will be a day that a blond girl will come here and she will need these and that she will be strong, the strongest in all the land. We believe that that girl is Lucy because she is a blond and she is very strong. I am going to Lucy's room to wake her up but when I get in there she is already awake and dressed?! Uhh. Good morning Lucy. I'm sorry. I was just coming to wake you up for training and breakfast. Your sister made it without any help for the kitchen staff. Yah she makes good food. That is the only reason why we are still healthy and the way we are. Lucy said. Ok just be out in at least 10 minutes so you can eat and we can go to the filled and start your training. Ok what if come out right now? Lucy said/asked. Ok that will also be fine. Follow me I said.

Lucy's POV
I was following Erza because I had no clue were the kitchen was and I kinda want to see my sister, she was not next to me when I woke up this morning. .....cy, ucy.....Lucy!!!! Are you lessening to me. Erza said a little infuriate because I did not answer her the first time she talked to me. What? I asked her. She said that we where about to enter the dining room to eat. Ok. I said. She looked at me like she wanted to know something. I said what is it? Why are you looking at me like that? She said why don't you ever look someone in the eye when they talk to you? And don't you ever smile around anyone other then Wendy? I don't look people in the eye because I don't trust them and I don't like that many people and that is why u don't smile at people other then my sister. I said without any emotion in my face or voice. She looked at me and side you are apart of the Fairy Tail Army/Guarding party now. That means you can tell us anything that you need to get off your chest. She said with a smile on her face and that made me look at her weird because she was alway serious and had a straight face unless she was with the people that she knew best. Why was she being so kind to Wendy and I? People never really like us because they said we were "emo" and that we were weird, which I did not mind because we didn't like that many people. We stayed away from sever urging and everyone because we did not know who to trust.
We made it to the dining room and to my surprise Wendy was already at the table and was waiting for everyone to come to eat. She smiled at me and Erza when we walked in and sad good morning and asked us to have a set at the table. We waited for the Royal family to come so we could all eat and I could start my training.
When they all got there we started to eat and when I was don't I excused myself from the table and went outsized to wait for Erza and not long after she came out and led me to the training Field. We had just made it to the field when she said that I will be getting something that I might need one day. She handed me a box and said to open it and that she would explain why she was giving it to me. I shook my head yah and opened the box. When I did I saw 19 keys and 3 pendant one was of the Fairy Tail emblem, the second was a sword tags you would put on a necklace chain, the third one was something like a cross with a blue rhinestone in the middle. I looked at her and she said that the only thing in that box that she gave me was the emblem be everything else came from an old man, for what he said was to give it to you he also said something about telling the girl that the person that told him to give it to you was named Layla something and her and her family lived in a village not to far past the forest and that is when I realized that she was talking about my mother. I looked at her and said " her name was Layla Heartfilia the mother of Lucy and Wendy Heartfilia, her husbands name was Jude Heartfilia. They were one of the most important people in the village until the day the were murdered by Sabertooth Soldiers. She looked at me with eyes that looked amazed when she heard me say all if that. She asked me if I knew what the keys were for and if I know who the old man was. I think I know what the keys are for but the old man I don't think I do. I said like I was about to cry because I actually talk to someone about my family and it was not Wendy. She said Taft you are starting to trust me and that is when I didn't know what to do anymore because she can see me at my weakest form. She asked me what they do and I said something that my mother used to say when she had one. "I open the gate of the water bearer. Aquarius!!!!
When I said that something weird happened a zodiac appeared in front of us. We jumped back because we did not know what to do and she looked at me and said "what do you want Layla." I'm not Layla. My mother is dead. I am her daughter Lucy Heartfilia. She looked at me and said I remember you. You were annoying when you were little. You know that. She said with a glare. I was, I don't remember much from my past but I don't care about it that much ether. What do I do with you because u just said something my mother used to say when she held this key.
So you really don't remember me? Huh. Yah I don't. So what am I supposed to do because there like 18 other keys here and 2 pendents that was given to me. Aquarius said " you use us in battle or to do things that you need help with but most of all we can be your friends and family if that is what you want from us. She said is a sensitive loving type voice. I looked at her and thought about my past. I looked back at her and said will you show me how to work with people and I think that you are a zodiac spirit? She said that she will try and then I looked at Erza to make sure that she did not mind and Erza looked at me and nodded in agreement, but she said that she will teach me hand in had combat and also in the weapons and how to use them and when to use them.
Aquarius said something about me and my sister having something special like magic or something but I did not know what to think because she was a mermaid standing right in front of me. Then I asked her if my sister had magic then what would it be, she said something about her having air dragon slaying magic. She also said that I have celestial magic, that is why I can summon zodiac spirits.

TRAINING WITH ERZA
I start to train with Erza in hand in hand combat. Is showing me when to hit, how to hit, and where to hit. But the most important part is not to use all of your strength in one hit because you will surly get hurt or possibly die in battle and when you you want to hit them in a weak spot that can possibly injure them to the point where they can't move. After her showing me, she wanted to see what I had learnt and said to come at her and I came at her we fought for a good 10 minutes before she elbowed me in the rib cage and at the same time I hit her ,with the palm of my hand, in the bone that goes from your back to you neck. We both fell to the ground in pain and that was when we decided that I was good enough in hand to hand combat and that we will be starting sword combat after my week with Aquarius and some of the other zodiacs.
We were walking back to the palace and we started and laughing and talking about things that we had gone through in our life. We had finally go back to the palace when I heard Wendy scream about something, when we walked on her hands were glowing a light green color and she asked me what was going on. I told her about training today and about Aquarius and what she had said about us. Wendy looked at me like I was crazy, so I pulled out the key and showed her and she looked at me like wow, are you for real about this. I nodded and Aquarius explain everything again so me and Erza left to go see what everyone was doing and to see how the prince was doing because I am his guard and I have to continually keep track of him. I had finally found him in the garden looking at the flaming rose.
