Guarding The Royal

Chapter 17

Lucy's POV

As I follow the brothers into the forest I start to hear a voice. "Lucy, come find me." I look around trying to find the voice. Natsu looks over to me. "Luce, what's wrong?" He asks holding my hand tighter. "I thought I heard something. It's nothing, lets keep walking." I say moving our arms towards Zeref's direction. He nodes and we keep walking. "Lucy, I know you hear me. Come find me. I have something you want back." 'Who's there?' I ask in my head hoping it would work. "I'm the one who can give you and your sister you're memories back. But you have to follow the stars. Come find me." The voice says in a childish tone but also serious at the same time. "Stars?" I say out loud trying to think. "What was that Lucy?" Zeref asked me. 

I look up to him. "Stars. We need to look for anything that resembles a star." I say looking around trying to find something that looks like a star. "What are you talking about?" Zeref says clueless. I let go of Natsu's hand and start walking in the direction of the moon flowers. "Stars!" I shout. "Lucy you're making no sense right now." Zeref says. "Of course you wouldn't understand. Look at the flower and tell me what you see." I say getting frustrated with him. They walk over to where I was standing and looked at the patch of moon flowers. "Do you see it?" I ask them. "I see the star." Natsu says pointing out the star.

"So what you are telling me, is that we need to follow these flowers?" Natsu asks me walking in front of me. "That's what she told me." I say still trying to make sence of things. "Who is sh-" "Goddamnit! Stop with all the damn questions. Just understand that I know things that you do and we need to follow these damn flowers." I says not knowing how to answer their questions. They both just look at me. "Why are you just staring at me?" I ask looking down to the flowers trying to find comfort in them. "You just blow up at us. And your going to ask us that." I just stare at Zeref trying not to get angry with him. I walk off and follow the flowers down the dark path. The only light was that of the moon flowers. 

"Lucy, wait up." I hear Natsu yell from behind me. I just kept walking not even looking back at the man that I have fallen deeply for. I notice that my walking started to turn into jogging and the that jogging turned into full on sprinting. I had tears streaming down my face and I kept following the flowers. I came to a stop when There were no longer any flowers to follow. I start to look around until I felt a cool presence surround me, as if it were trying to hold and comfort me. "W-who's there?" I try to regain my posture. 

"Lucy, you must relax and calm down. I can't help you if you don't." The same voice from earlier said to me. I felt as if a great pain was just relieved from my being. "Lucy? Can......you see.......me?" The women asks. I look at the tree in front of me and smile. 

There was a beautiful women dressed in what looks to be leaves and flowers with a white silk covering one shoulder going down to her waist. She holds a staff with moon flowers growing out of it. Her hair was a golden silk blonde that passes her mid-thigh. Her skin is a creamy pale color. She wore bright green vines going from her feet to her knees. She was sitting in the tree with a bright smile on her face as she looked down at me. 

"Your highness." I fall to my knees bowing down to her. She giggles a little before gracefully landing on her feet. "Dear Lucy you haven't need bow to me. Rise and look at me." She says as she gently held my arm. "I am of the same blood as you. Look me in the eyes." I look at her with curious eyes. "What do you mean? I'm nowhere close to being of the same blood. Your- your a goddess." I reply to her. as my brows knotted together. "Yes you and your sister are. I'm your mother's eldest sister. I'm the goddess of everything living or in other words of nature." She says with a smile on her face. My facial expression changes from one of curiosity to one of confusion. 

"Lucy you are a queen but not just any queen, you are the queen of all god and goddess. And soon you will rule all the realms and you will have to protect them for any unnatural harm. But before anything like that can happen I have something that belongs to you and you sister." I just look at her, fear evendent on my face. "What do you have that belongs to us?" I ask completely ignoring my fear. She smiles at me and then holds out her hands. I take hold of her hands and she pulls me into thin air with one swift jump. I smile in amazement. I relax and let the feeling consume me.
