"GARROTH." A voice echoed through the cool night air. Garroth sat up straight to see Dante running at him. "What is happening Dante? Did O'Khasis invade?" Garroth asked. Dante handed him a sealed letter. It was addressed to him. It had the O'Khasis symbol on it. He opened it. A letter with fancy handwriting. He began to read.
Dear Garroth,
This letter has come to inform you of your brothers death. Zane Ro'meave. He was killed under being suspected of being traitor. He was proven innocent under further analysis. Lord Garte apologizes for being to brash. However he knows you aren't on good terms with him and your brother. He still asks you to return to O'Khasis for the funeral. We understand your position as head guard of Phoenix Drop so, we allow you to have your Lord come instead of you or both of you can come.

Yours Truly,
O'Khasis

"What does it read Garroth?" Dante asked. I showed him the letter. His eyes skimmed over the page and widen. "I can't tell if I should be sad or ecstatic" I said quietly. "We need to show Lord Aphmau" Dante said quickly. I nodded. "What are you guys yelling about" Laurence asked as he came down the ladder. Dante showed him the letter. A grin played on his lips and then faded. "Did you guys tell Aph. " he asked. We shook our heads no. "Well come on!" Laurence ran out the door. We followed him. I swore I felt a pair of eyes follow me. I brushed it off.
Aphmau's POV
I heard a knock on the door. I was just putting the kids to bed. "Who could that be?" I wondered. I walked downstairs to see Dante, Garroth, and Laurence. "Lord Aphmau. You might want to see this" Garroth handed me a letter. I quickly read it. I didn't know why but I felt sad for Zane. I quickly glanced up at my guards "What do you think we should make of this". Garroth sighed "I will go to O'Khasis. He may not be the best brother but he still is my brother". I shook my head "Garroth, I don't think we should do that. I mean what if they make you stay? I wouldn't be able to stand that. Besides if I go maybe I could find more about what happened.". Garroth instead of saying "no" just sighed. "I-. Let's talk about this tomorrow it getting late" I nodded. I walked up into my room. Unaware of the dangers and truth that lurked from the outside world.
