Garroth's POV
I ran quickly not minding the smoke surrounding me. Aphmau needed help. I saw the girl from earlier. She was running away quickly. I spotted Zane and ran towards him. Our swords clashed. "If you DARE hurt Lord Aphmau you are going to pay" said Laurence jumped out of nowhere. Dante began to run after the other person. Zane seeing he was outnumbered ran. I ran after him. Anger filled my mind. In another flash a smoke he was gone. I nearly tripped because the smoke was so sudden. I looked at Laurence "Go scout the area. Go see if Zane is still here if not go help Dante please". He nodded. I looked around. Did I just really let him get away with Aphmau? I looked around. It wasn't till a voice broke my daze. "G-Garroth". I jumped "Lord Aphmau I'm coming". I saw her lying up in a tree. Not exactly the best spot to lay. I climbed the tree and helped her down. She gave me a sweet smile. "T-t-t-thanks" she stuttered. She leaned on me till we got back to her house. Where Zoey took her to her room. I saw Luna playing with Levin and Malachi. I smiled. Levin hugged Luna and smiled "sis is so short". I couldn't help but laugh a little since Luna had an annoyed expression on her face. "I am not short I am strong". Malachi smiled " I don't know Levin did bet you in tag". She let out a giggle "Ye, Levin is fast". I walked back to the guard station where Dante and Laurence asked me how Aphmau was doing. I told them she was alright. They let out a sigh of relief in unison. Maybe this peace might last a little longer. I smiled totally forgetting about what Zane had told Aphmau at the wall about a day ago.
