Jessie has been told over and over again that she is a thorn in everyone's life. She doesn't belong. Everyone is a flower while she is an ugly thorn. But Mac doesn't agree with everyone.
"Jessie, you are not a thorn. You just need to wait for your time to grow." He insisted. "What if you are really a rose, waiting to bloom while everyone else is stuck being...I don't know...a daffodil? Roses are unique in their own way."
Will Jessie come to understand her life as a beautiful thorn?
