Ghost hunt

The House of Horror: Part 5

Mai:

The lights just went out, and Aine and I are trying to open the door, but it wont budge. "what are we going to do Mai!?" yells Aine. "Calm down Aine maybe it's just a power outage." I say trying to calm down the scared girl, but my words are shortly proven wrong. A ugly purple red-ish shadow figure appear out of nowhere. "M-Mai w-what is t-that?" Aine asks clearly frightened. "Someone help! Please!" I shout in fear. "HELP!" Aine screams.

Naru:

We were all in base when we heard screaming. "That sounds like Mai!" shouts Monk. "It sounds like Aine too!" yells John. I'm the first one out the door. I'm already Halfway there when the others catch up. We reach the room and I'm standing there trying to open the door. "It wont budge!" I shout. "Stand back!" Lynn yells. we clear the way and Lynn kicks down the door. there we saw what was the last thing we wanted to see.

"Mai!" I yell running up to her fallen body. she was covered with blood, and Aine was nowhere to be seen. "Aine! Aine! Where are you!?" John screams sounding a little desperately worried. "John, enough she's not here!" Ayako shouts trying to calm down the panicking priest. John finally calms down in defeat.

Mai opens her eyes, and she whispers something only I could hear. "She took her...... The ghost....... took Aine........ She's in Dan......ger. She closes her eyes after that. "Mai! stay with me! Someone call an ambulance!" I say with a calm face, but panic clearly in my voice.

An Hour Later:

Mai's in the hospital, Aine's missing, and I can't pay attention through my worry and trying to keep my calm poker face. "Naru seems to be out of it. I wonder what's up?" Monk says. "I'm more worried about Mai. Even though the doctor says she'll be fine, I can't help but worry about her." Ayako says. "I'm more worried about Aine. She wasn't anywhere no matter how much I-I mean we looked." John says completely out of it. "John don't worry, we'll find your girlfriend." Monk says half teasingly. But, John doesn't even flinch at it. Worry completely taken over.

"Okay, now I'm worried about Mai, Naru, and John." " Yeah. I understand. After all, Mai's in the hospital, Naru can't even focus on reading his black note book, and now John is in shock over the disappearance of his first love." "No joke. So, what are we going to do?" "We have no choice. We have to, at least, find Aine so we can get John to his feet. After that, we'll see if John can give Naru some advice like before." "But we don't even know where to look. What about that?" "Easy, just look at the places we haven't looked." "What do you mean?" "So far we've looked everywhere except the basement and Mr. Shoto's room." "Alright! You'll go to the basement." "What about you, Ayako?" "I'll go with her." Said the oh-so-silent Lynn. "After all, it's my duty to protect Naru." "Alright." We all left to search for Aine.

Aine: In the Basement:

".......Hm? ......." I wake up tied up in a dark room. "Hm? Where am I?" I struggle to get up. "What? What's going on? Oh no! Don't tell me.....!" I look around in a panic. 'No way!  I-I was taken again. What should I do?' I think when I hear voices. "There's only one room left." "Right." "Hey! Is anyone there? Help! "Did you hear that." Said Ayako. Lynn nodded. "There!" Lynn shouted. "Aine!" Ayako yelled.

I tried to stand, but I was tied down to the floor. They came running to save me, however, something blocked their way. It was the spirit of a little girl. I couldn't make out the face, or anything for that matter, but I knew it was a little girl right from the start. They prepared to attack.
