MAI:

I wake up breathing heavily. Naru comes rushing over to me. "What happened Mai?" Naru asked worriedly. "Aine's okay. I know where she is." Mai says with confidence in her eyes. "I knew you could do it mommy!" Myles said giving me a huge bear hug. "Mommy!" Mia said hugging me. Naru joined the family group hug. Suddenly, John wakes up shouting Aines name. "Aine!" John realizes the others were staring at him, and his cheeks turn a slightly red. "Mai, tell us where Aine is before John blacks out again." Naru says with his emotionless voice. However, worry swimming through his eyes. "Aine is being kept at a small garden house not too far from here. She's fine, but I have a feeling that she wont be for long." "Well, that feelings going to change." Monk says pointing over where John was. I look and find John is gone. "Don't tell me John ........." "Yep." "Lets go after him before he gets too far away." We leave to chase after John who disappeared.

We make our way outside and find John looking around mumbling to himself. "I probably should've waited for directions." John mumbles. "John!" I call out to him. John turns around. We run up to him. "Why did you leave so suddenly?" I asked worried. "I just wanted to get Aine back......" John says looking down in disappointment. He whispers something in my ear. "Mai, Aine told me about the twins. I'm just so worried. Especially now, that I know we're having twins." "It's going to be alright John. Aine's tough. She'll be fine. I bet she's doing everything she can now to protect them and herself just so she can come back to you safely." I whisper back trying to reassure him. He nods holding back tears. "Alright then, lets go get Aine back!" I shout and take off running. The others follow shortly behind.

We arrive at the garden house. There were many beautiful flowers, plants, and trees. The house, however, is old, eerie, and down right creepy. We cautiously approach it, hoping that we aren't too late. It wasn't dark yet, so we had hope that she was still alright. However, the sun was setting. 'We have to hurry!' I think to myself.

Once inside, we expected to smell blood. But, it didn't smell like blood. In fact, it smelled sweet inside. like roses and honey. We walked to the living room and see that Aine wasn't there. 'Where is she?' After I think this, we hear a scream coming from another part of the house. We rush to it, hoping we weren't too late. When we get there, we see Aine collapsed on the floor wearing a kimono. She was tied down with her neck out stretched. We look and see scalpels, knives, and other sharp instruments lying on the sink. Monk grabs one of the knives and cuts Aine loose. John picks Aine up and we quickly leave the bathroom. But, before we could run out the front door, the door shuts sealing us inside. The room temperature drops to freezing our butts off. 'Good thing we left Mia and Myles outside.' We can hear Mia and Myles banging on the door and shouting.

As we try to break down the door, a figure appears in the corner of the room. We get into a fighting stance, but we didn't expect what we saw. It wasn't Urado, but a small child. Masako tells us about the spirit. "It's a small girl, about 4 or 5, she says she wants her mother back." "What do you mean, Masako?" I ask Masako. Then, an evil aura surrounds the little ghost. With just a flick of her hand, we were all flung away. John was still holding onto Aine, who was still unconscious, with all his strength.

The spirit comes closer and closer to them. John fell unconscious from the impact, making him and Aine easy targets. the spirit takes Aine and disappears with her. I look around, my conscious hanging by a thread, and see that everyone has lost consciousness. I, too, fell into the dark abyss of unconsciousness, with only one thing on my mind. 'I need to find Aine. She's my...... best.......... friend.'

I wake up with a splitting headache. I look around and see that we are back at the hotel. I see that Naru, John, and myself have awaken, but the others are still unconscious. Recalling what happened, I slowly sit up. "Mai!" Naru said coming over to me. Then, my little ones came running and gave me bear hugs. "Mommy! Are you okay!?" "Of coarse she is. She's awake, isn't she?" "But, mommy could be hurt!" "Mommy are you hurt?" "Hey! Don't just change sides!" Calm down. I'm fine. My head hurts a little bit. But, you don't have to worry." I say comforting/preventing a psychic war between my children. "Mai. Are you sure your alright?" Naru asks worriedly. I look him in the eye and put my best smile on. "I'm fine. I'm more worried about Aine." I look down. My smile quickly vanishing. "I mean, we didn't even have a chance to fight back." I glance over at John and see him holding a cross in his hands crying. Feeling guilty, I get up and walk over to him. "John.....?" He takes a quick glance at me then looks away. "He hasn't said a word. Your the first person he's even looked at since our battle." Naru explains standing beside me. I look at the cross and see it looks very familiar. Though I can't quite put my finger on where I saw it.

A FEW HOURS LATER: JOHN:

I'm sitting there depressed and sad. I'm holding the anniversary necklace I gave Aine in my hands. 'Aine.' flashes of Aines smiling face run through my mind. 'She always had a smile.' I mentally slap myself in order to get my mind on  other things. It never works no matter how many times I mentally, or physically, slap myself. But, there was one thing I was certain of. 'I will save you Aine. I promise.'  With that determination, I jump back into reality.

The others have already awakened and everyone is now revising a new plan of action. This ghost is not going to be easy. "Naru, if Mai and myself can talk to the spirit for just a few minutes, maybe we could reach out to her." Masako suggested. "That's a good plan. But, remember what happened last time? The ghost didn't even give us a chance to fight back." Monk said, angry at his failure. "What about, Monk and I chant the seal of the immovable one and paralyze her while Masako talks to her." Mai suggested out of the blue. Everyone looks at her in surprise. "That's actually a great idea Mai." Yasu said. "Looks like Naru's smarts are rubbing off on you." Monk says teasingly. "That's plan A. We need a plan B just in case it doesn't work." Naru said. We come up with a plan B to save our Friend/My sister.
