"Hey Losechester get back here!" Sam ran down the corridor, his bag banging against his back and his shoes rubbing against his feet. He dodged and weaved past the older teens. As soon as he turned the corner he immediately crashed into Dean. He looked up and smiled.

"Hey Sammy what's...." Suddenly the bullies appeared. Sam hid behind Dean. Dean strutted forward and grabbed the biggest kid by the scruff of his neck.

"You picking on my brother? Cause if you are you've got another thing coming to you pal!" The young boy ran away in terror and surprise, his posse chasing after him. Dean bent down so he was Sam's height.

"If they cause any trouble you come looking for me right?" The bell rang, causing the two boys to jump. Dean patted Sam's shoulder before walking off. Sam headed along the corridor. He had been running from the bullies all day, barley getting a chance to rest and drink or get something to eat. He felt extremely light headed when he walked into the classroom. He sat himself down in the back of the room in the farthest seat possible. He leant his head on the cool wooden table and shut his eyes. A few minutes later a teacher walked in.

"Hello class 4C! I'm afraid Mr Jacobs is running a bit late so will you just sit here quietly?" The teacher walked off, leaving the class to erupt into chatter. Sam covered his ears with his hands, trying to block out the noise. He felt a migraine developing in his skull, his brain pounding.

"Hey Sam are you alright?" A young boy leant down next to Sam. Sam shook his head. Out of nowhere the bullies appeared and pushed Sam against the wall.

"I'm sick of you and your little games losechester! You're big brother isn't here to protect you now!" The bully started to punch Sam on every part of his body. He punched Sam's stomach particularly hard causing Sam to gag. But it went unnoticed. The teacher appeared in the doorway clutching a large pile of papers. Everybody returned to their seats as Sam scraped himself off of the floor. He sat down at his desk, folded his arms and rested his chin on them, not properly paying attention. As everybody else was working quietly he felt a presence next to him.

"Sam? Buddy?" He looked up to see Mr Jacobs.

"You ok pal?" He patted Sam's back. Sam shook his head, gagging again. This time the teacher noticed.

"Quickly come with me." The teacher picked Sam up and carried him down the the disabled toilet. He locked the door and placed Sam in front of the ceramic bowl. Sam immediately started gagging and heaving but failed to bring Anything up but stomach bile.

"Is there someone here for you? Like a sibling?" Sam nodded and wiped his mouth on his sleeve.

"Dean. My brother. He's 17. I don't know his class." Sam coughed, leading onto a coughing fit. As soon as he calmed down Mr Jacobs stood up.

"I'm going to go find your brother ok? Stay here." He ran off, his feet clashing onto the tile floor. No longer than five minutes Sam heard a knock at the door.

"Sammy? It's me bro!" Dean called through the door. Sam unlocked the door and leant back against the wall. Dean pushed open the door and hugged Sam tightly. Sam wriggled out of his tight grip and threw up again and again. Dean rubbed Sam's back and held him upright. Sam lurched forward, his whole body shivering.

"Jesus Sam breathe!" Sam coughed harshly, failing to bring in much air. Dean slapped Sam's back, trying to help him in any way possible. As soon as Sam was breathing normally  Mr Jacobs appeared in the doorway.

"If you two want to leave then that's fine. I've signed you out of the building so feel free to leave whenever. And Sam....I know all about Thomas and his little gang. I'll deal with them. Don't you worry." Sam smiled weakly.

"Thank you sir." His voice rasped. Dean patted Sam's shoulder.

"You ready to go Sam?" He nodded. Dean picked him up on his back and carried him down the corridor. He walked Sam all the way back to the motel and sat him down on the couch. He grabbed a bucket and a blanket and curled up next to Sam.

"Wanna watch a movie? How about Harry Potter huh?" Sam nodded. Dean placed the movie in the player and cuddled up next to Sam.

"Dean?" Sam whispered after a while.

"Hmmm?" Dean looked down at Sam.

"Promise me this......no matter what happens to me in the future....you always be there to protect me right?" Dean smiled at Sam.

"Of course buddy. I'll always be there."
