When you first told Cas he was going to be a father he was over the moon. So much that he fainted. After the first month or so you had had it with the pregnancy. The morning sickness, the cravings, everything. But you pushed through. And Cas was there every step of the way.
As you sat on the couch you felt a sharp pain inside you. You satup, wrapping your hands around your enlarge stomach. Cas, who was in the motel kitchen came rushing over and knelt down in front of you with a look of worry plastered on his face.
"(y/n) whats wrong?" he looked at you all over.
"Give me your hand." you pulled your shirt up and placed his hand on top. It was a few moments before there was another kick. Cas fell back onto his behind, causing you to laugh.
"What was that? Was that our baby?" you nodded. For the first time in weeks, Cas was smiling. He sat crossed legged in front of you, now with both hands. As the baby kicked, he wouldn't stop smiling.
"It likes you." Cas rubbed his hands on your stomach. You smiled at your husband. He looked up to you.
"I read that if you speak to the baby, it makes the bond stronger." he shuffled forward and rested his head on your belly.
"Hey little baby. Um...I'm your father. I know life may be hard for you...seeing as I am an angel and both of your uncles are hunters. But we will train you up, so that you are big and strong, and we will protect you no matter what." your baby kicked some more in response to his voice. You both sat there for a few more minutes until you realised someone was standing behind you. You grabbed the blade hiding between the couch cushions and pressed the figure against the wall.
"Woah (y/n) its us!" Dean looked at you with wide eyes. You lowered the blade, breathing out heavily.
"Has no one ever told you its a really bad idea to sneak up on a pregnant lady Dean?" Sam laughed at the pair of you. Cas stood up and wrapped his hands around your waist.
"We actually came cause we had something for you." Sam pulled a basket full of baby stuff from behind his back and handed it to you.
"You guys shouldn't have." you wiped tears from your eyes. You saw that they had bought several sleep suits, clothes and some other necessities as well. You couldn't help but smile.
"You guys.....are gonna be great uncles." everyone couldn't help but smile as you couldn't wait for your little baby to meet its family.
