- 17 Weeks Pregnant -
I had finally settled back in at home and gotten over the jet lag. My mom had taken time off work to make sure I me and Taylor were okay.
But today was her first day back.
"I will be fine. Krystal will be here soon to pick me up. We will be at her house all night," I got up on my toes to kiss her cheek, "Mom, go."
She sighed, "Call me if you need anything, okay?"
I nodded and pushed her out the door, "You're going to be late if you don't go."
"Fine," She stood her ground and I couldn't push her anymore. She bent down and kissed my forehead, "I love you."
"Mom, go." She laughed but didn't argue anymore. I stood at the door as she walked down the driveway and got in her car, then waved to her as she drove away.
When she was gone I took a deep breath and closed the door. I pressed my back against it and looked around my childhood home.
Where I took my first steps. Where I said my first words. Where I had my first kiss.
But all I could think of was Justin. How he was here all the time during the first weeks of the pregnancy.
How he had somehow found the time to have sex with a different girl while I was sitting here vomiting and crying.
But that didn't matter anymore.
I knew Krystal would be here soon but I really didn't care.
I slid to the ground with my back still on the door and stared through the kitchen and into the living room. Where Justin and I had sat for hours watching movies and talking about ourselves. How it was my couch that we sat on and fell in love.
And now I was alone.
I jumped when the door tried to open behind me then quickly scurried away so Krystal could open it enough to push her way in.
"What are you doing?" She mumbled then dropped to my level, "Is everything okay?"
I nodded, "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" I had to pretend that leaving Justin didn't bother me. I wouldn't hear the end of it if she found out I missed him.
"You're sitting on the floor and totally zonked out." She pressed her hand to my forehead, "You don't have a fever."
I glared at her, "Seriously, I'm fine."
"Then lets go." She mumbled, "My mom isn't very patient."
I held up my hand to her, "Then help me up."
She laughed but pulled me to my feet.

"We have so much to catch up on, and I don't mean just gossip,"
I perched myself up on my mountain of pillows, "You always mean gossip."
"Well, I cant help it. tell me your gossip."
I smiled, "You know the most of it. I found out he kissed somebody else. I left. That's all."
He didn't just kiss her, I thought to myself. I didn't want to lie but I didn't want to ruin her image of him either.
"Where'd you get the rock from then?"
I frowned at her, "What?"
"The ring," She smiled, "You idiot."
I glanced down at my hand and bit my lip. I still hadn't taken it off. I didn't want to. If I took it off everything would start feeling official.
And I didn't want it to be official.
"He kind of proposed." I mumbled. I should have eased into it but telling her big news was always easiest if you just had words vomit, "But, I said no." I had to cut her off before she could say anything.
She didn't even notice, "He proposed? Holy, balls! Serrina!" She scurried across the floor and grabbed my hands, "Why didn't you say yes? Your kid would be set for life with a dad like that!"
"He's still her dad." I snapped, "I just didn't want to be married at 14. And to a guy I've only known for a few months."
She bit her lip and rolled onto her back, "But he's Justin Bieber. You are living ever girls dream and you're pushing it away."
"It's not my dream." I mumbled then realised what I had said and pressed my hands to my belly, "I mean, obviously I didn't want to get pregnant at 14. But marrying Justin Bieber seems like more trouble than it's worth. I wouldn't be able to trust anybody."
"Then it's a damn good thing you've got me."
I smiled at her, "Yep." I sighed and looked around the little office, "The anniversary is coming up soon, right?"
"Yeah, next week. Mom is pretending like she isn't bothered." Krystal sat up and looked around the room, "She pretends that it doesn't bother her that he's gone but she's a loud crier." Then she looked at me, "Don't change the subject, I was trying to convince you to marry him."
I smiled, "I don't want to."
"Yes you do," She quickly replied and then laid her head down onto my stomach, "You're just scared."
I nodded, "I'm scared of everything right now. I can only handle one scary thing at a time."
"Having a baby isn't scary."
"Then go have a baby,"
"Ill pass."
I smiled, "That's what I thought."
She lifted the bottom of my shirt up so she could see my stomach, "Do you want your parents to get married?" Then she pressed her ear to my skin. Taylor wiggled inside and Krystal looked up at me and raised her eyebrow, "The baby has spoken."
I laughed, "She stretched,"
"It was a thumbs up," She smiled, "Now you have to marry him."
I shook my head and smiled and Krystal began mumbling questions to Taylor and waiting for what she had started calling 'fortunes'.

It was late and although my jet lag was getting better I was still exhausted by the time midnight came around. Maybe that was because I was pregnant.
Either way we set up our beds on Krystal's dad's office floor and then turned a movie onto the projector. We had decided on Beauty and the Beast because it was both of our favourite Disney movie, hens our nicknames for each other. I was Beauty, Krystal was Beast.
We sat there, quoting lines as they were said and then when the movie ended we talked until we fell asleep.
