Impractical Girls /I.J/

Chapter Three

Sal's point of view:

It's been a few days since we all talked about moving in together, and I'm still kinda iffy about it. I mean, I love hanging with the guys, but they're so messy. I'm a very clean person and murr isn't and Q has cats. I fucking hate cats. They scare the living shit out of me. I shiver just thinking about cats as I make my way to work. I hope I'm not late again...I helped a woman with her groceries this morning and that took a hell of a lot longer then I thought it would. I check my phone and groan when I realize what time it is. I am late.

I hurry into the building and put on my hat before clicking in. Unfortunately the boss is in the same room as me, giving me a dirty look. "Mr. Vulcano, this is the third time you've been late in a month and you've had warnings previously. I need you to come to my office." The boss lady said with an stern but calm tone. I gulped nervously and nodded, following behind her as we made our way into her office. I can't help that I live on the other side of town! I really hope I'm not in serious trouble here.

She sat me down in a chair and took a seat in her swivel chair just across me. "Sal...I'm sorry, but this company can't have someone like you be late all the time. You are becoming a liability." She said, crossing her legs slowly. Her words because silent as I zoned out and looked behind her. She's firing me. I can't lose my job! I have so many bills to pay and this car washing job was doing just that! I shook my head and leaned forward, clearing my throat. "Ma'am if you just give me one more chance, I promise you I will not make the same mistake again" I pleaded with her.

She shook her head and frowned, standing up with a loud sigh. "I'm sorry, but we are letting you go. You need to hand in your shirt and hat, we will send everything in your locker to your home as well as your final check." She muttered, placing a hand on my shoulder. I stared at her hand before standing up and nodding my head. "Okay" I mumbled as I took off my hat and shirt, since I was wearing a tank top underneath. That would be awkward if I wasn't.

The boss took my things and stuffed them in a drawer before escorting me out. I just kept on walking, not saying goodbye to any of my coworkers as I held my head down in shame.

A few hours later...

The guys were trying to comfort me while I sat on Brian's couch, feeling like a failure. "Cheer up buddy, you'll get a new job soon enough!" Joe said with a friendly smile. "Yea, you could always be a trash guy" q said with a laugh. I glared at him and he shrugged, probably thinking he's funny or something. "Hey! I know what would make you feel better, let's watch impractical jokers" murr suggested with a smirk. I smiled and nodded, sitting up straighter.

Q got up and got us all some snacks and some beer, joe set up the station and murr got us all pillows and blankets. Once we were all settled in we turned up the volume of our all time favorite show.

"Today we are going up to strangers and asking questions that were written by the other girls" B said, smiling at the camera. "The challenge is you have to ask the questions and get a response back or you lose" Bessy said throwing her arms in the air enthusiastically. "Hey, where Ko and Si?" B asked confused and looking around.

Ko and Si were sitting over to the left, sipping on juice boxes and laying down on lawn chairs and enjoying themselves. I laughed my ass off just at that. Ko seems so funny and she looks super hot on camera. No not hot, gorgeous, stunning even! God, I wish I could meet her in real life. I wish I could tell her how I feel and then we'd eventually get married and have some kids together. Yea, that sounds like heaven.

"Good evening, table for four?" Si asked, holding a tray full of drinks in her hand. "Today we are serving customers and half to do whatever the girls say" Ko said, winking at the camera. "The hard part is, it's a four star restraunt and the people in this place don't play around with their service." Bessy said, crossing her arms. "If you refuse to do what the other girls ask then yooooou lose!" B said, poking si in the stomach and making her laugh and drop the drinks, making them all break into hysterics.

The guys and I burst into laughter again when B was told to go up to a table and fake sneeze after every sentence. The couple sitting at the table asked for a different waitress and the guy handed B some hand sanitizer! "Alright sicko, you win. You can't stop snorting on people" Bessy said, rolling her eyes. Next up was Ko and she was told to sit next to the people and take their order. Ko reluctantly did so and the people gave her dirty looks. "Ko, take a sip of the dude's cocktail and spit back in it" Si said with a wide smirk. Ko made a face at the camera and refused as she just patted the dude's shoulder. 

I shook my head, knowing that if it was me I would be too disgusted to do it. I can't even imagine doing half the stuff these girls do. It's crazy. Ko is pretty polite, which I find endearing. I bet she's an angel in person. Hell, she's my angel. She's everything I could ever want in a woman AND she's single. Not that she would ever fall for someone like me, but still, single non the less.

"KO here is a loser. I mean tonight's loser" Si said shaking Ko's shoulders. "All you need to do for your punishment is wait in this room right here" B said, opening the door with a small smile. Ko gulped and nodded, slowly stepping forward. Si rolled her eyes and her and Bessy shoved her into the room and locked it while laughing evilly.

I was so focused and worried for Ko that I didn't notice something being set on my lap. I covered my mouth and gasped when I saw what Ko's punishment was. The light turned on in the room Ko was in and there were cockroaches filled all over the room.

"Ko, you see that jar of honey on the other side of the room?" B asked, trying to hide her laugh. "Yea?" Ko asked, practically shaking in fear. "Rub that all over you and you can get out." Si said, biting her lip to stop from laughing. "Hell no. I'm not putting honey on me. I'll be sticky as fuck" Ko shouted, rolling her eyes. "Fine. See you later" Bessy said, stepping away from the camera. Ko growled and eventually rubbed the honey on her arms. "Okay guys. Let me out now" she complained. The episode ended with Ko shouting for them to let her out and no one was there.

I shook my head, thinking it was more torture then just a punishment. I sighed and set my hands down and freezing immediately. Brooklyn the cat was on my lap. I screamed as loud as I could and bolted into the kitchen to get away from the cat. The cat hissed and ran to another room. "Dude what the hell! You scared the shit out of my cat!" Q cursed at me, chasing after his "devil" cat. Joe and murr burst into laughter and fell over laughing at me. I rolled my eyes and started thinking about how I'd like to have less douchey best friends.

Sorry this one was a little shorter guys. I actually typed this while on a road trip. Not while driving of course! I still hope that you enjoyed it though.
