"No, I don't like him! He is really agitating! He never shuts up!" Your brother Brian rolled his eyes before scoffing.

"[Your Name], we have gone through every eligible kid in this school! There has to be a guy who is going to ask you to prom!" You waved him off before catching your breath.

"God, I hate running for P.E.! And who said anything about the guy having to ask me out to prom? I'm perfectly capable of asking someone out." You said thinking about a certain someone. Brian gawked at you before grimacing. Here we go again.

"You're not thinking about asking out that Connor kid, right?"

"So what if I am?"

"Come on, [Your Name]! He doesn't talk, to anyone! That's not going to get you into the yearbook."

"To hell with the yearbook, Brian. And Connor is really nice once you get to know him." You said smiling. He laughed and you then squinted your eyes at him.

"Connor won't look good with you at all, [Your Name]." He said nonchalantly. You then squinted your eyes at him.

"You know what, Brian?! I'm tired of all that bullshit you, mom, and dad say about how we appear to others! I'm sick of people forcing me on to people who I don't enjoy being around! Connor, makes me feel special! He is my God damn boyfriend and that is final! And if you can't see that he makes your own little sister happy! I don't give a crap if he is quiet or not! Or even if he doesn't 'look good ' with me! " You yelled at your brother before running ahead of him. All you wanted to do was get finish with your laps so you could get as far away from Brian and his stupid antics.

During your study hall, you decided to go back out to the fields and work on your archery skills. You smiled faintly because this was how you met Connor in the first place.

Gosh, if I trying to get on the team I have to be able to do it first! You thought to yourself. You groaned aloud before laying down on the ground. You closed your eyes for a moment trying to think what you should do.

"God, I've never been this frustrated!" You yelled but it was soon replied with a chuckle. Your head snapped up and you looked up to see that new kid Connor. You smiled slightly and he returned it with a rare ghost of a smile. You only saw that if he was speaking to adults or engaging in conservations with friends from his other school.

"Well, if you're frustrated... you should try getting back and let me help you out." You smiled brightly before getting up and engulfing him in a hug. You then kiss his cheek before you let him go.

"Come on, Come on, Come on!" You said cheerfully while Connor sat there in a slight daze. He then looked at you realizing that you were going to be someone who was going to last. That was Freshman year when Connor came to your school, but now it's Senior year.

{A/N: I don't know how the hell you shoot a bow so bear with me.}

You pulled back your bow before placing the arrow in. You soon saw the flash of your families faces appear in your mind. You scowled at yourself for thinking about them and you then shot the arrow and surprisingly in landed straight in the middle.

"Bullseye!" You turned around and then smiled. Just the person you wanted to see, Connor. He walked up to you and then wrapped his arms around. You placed your head on his shoulder and just sat there in silence for a moment.

"[Your Name], can I ask you something?" He said softly in your ear. You nodded your head before he let you go. He pulled something out of his pocket and you rose an eyebrow. He pulled out a gorgeous necklace before he went behind you and moved your [Hair Color] [Hair Length] hair out of the way. Before you could protest because you knew who it belonged to he spoke.

"It was my mother's, [Your Name]. And I thought it should be given to someone who is just as special as her." You smiled and looked down knowing how much his mother meant to him. He placed his fingers under your chin and made you look up at him.

"And so, this is not me just asking you to prom... but it to show that I promise to stand by you whenever you need me to." That made you smile even brighter. You nodded your head and he showed you that ghost of a smile he had.

#At Prom#

You were sure that nothing could get in your way now that it was the night of prom. Connor was by your side and the two of you had been together all night. You were feeling unsure about yourself because you were getting glared at by other girls, especially your brother's girlfriend. You would then look at Connor and all of those feelings go away.

"It's now time to present the Prom King and Queen of [Your School's Name] High!" The two of you stood there looking up at the stage while the principal opened the envelope.

"Our Prom King is . . . Alex Black!" You smiled knowing how much Alex worked his ass off this year. He deserved it clearly.

"And our Prom Queen is. . . . [Your Name] [Your Last Name]! " Your eyes widen before the spotlight started to shine on you. You looked at Connor but he just smiled before nudging you a bit.

"Go get your crown, Queen [Your Name]."You smiled at him before walking up to the stage to receive your crown. The whole time you keep staring at Connor and he did the same to you. After all, that went down you went back to Connor and hugged him. Then you felt a tap on your shoulder and saw a sheepish looking brother. You narrowed your eyes at him before he spoke.

"[Your Name], I owe you an apology... I owe you both an apology. I'm glad that you're so happy with him... I guess you look kinda good with him." He smiled slightly. You didn't feel like that was an apology at all considering all of the shit he has said about Connor but you were cut off before you could.

"Thanks for the apology, Brian." Connor said for the both of you. He knew how you act when you weren't happy. Connor then grabbed you hand softly and pulled you outside to the woods where you guys usually went to relax.

"Close your eyes, [Your Name]." You glanced at him before doing so. You sighed. "Connor, I'm trusting you!" You giggled and he chuckled. After a few moments he told you to open your eyes and you were at a gorgeous lake. He pulled you closer to him and he guides you to a secret passageway. Once the two of you emerged out of the thick vegetation, you gasped seeing a picnic set up. You looked up at Connor before smiling. He grinned at you.

"Come on my queen, your picnic awaits. " He said jokingly before you punch his shoulder softly.
