"Come on," You hissed at him while tugging at his forearm.

It's been three days since he has returned home! And for once it was the first time in months that the two of you were home at the same time. He being stubborn as ever just sitting there reading a book in front of the fireplace.

"Christ, Connor! This is the first time in three months that the both of us are home at the same time! Could we please go out and do something?" You questioned him while bending down looking at him. A slight smile tugged at his lips before letting out a sigh and placing his book down.

"What do you wanna do, [Your Name]?" You smiled brightly at him before you grabbed his hand before dragging him out of the house.

"If I knew befriending someone in the same occupation as I, I would've avoided it," That was a complete and utter lie. As much as you loved to have Connor as a close friend, the longer you had stayed friends with him, the more you longed to be something more.

He chuckled at your previous statement before smiling while he walked beside you. The two of you made your way through the woods until you grew bored of just walking around. You looked around noticing the perfect opportunity to try and beat Connor at one of his best attributes.

Tree climbing

His eyes had wonder somewhere else so he hadn't taken notice at what you were about to do. You quickly swung your legs under his feet, catching him off guard and causing him to land right on his ass. You giggled before placing your hands over your mouth noticing him glare at you. You then burst out into an uncontrollable laughter, you wiped a tear from your eye while he kept glaring at you, "Catch me if you can, Connor!" You teased before you latched onto the nearest tree and went to work. You swiftly and skillfully maneuvered your ways through the trees, occasionally looking to your left and right, trying to make sure he wasn't anywhere by you. You smiled looking ahead to notice you had almost made it back home.

You looked around once more before you slowed down, you let out a breath before a rustle of some leaves. You turned around only to feel someone tackle you from behind and out of the tree causing the two of you to fall into a pile of leaves letting out a grunt.

"Son of a bi-" You almost yelled out but your mouth was covered by a large hand. You glared him before biting down and he winced before you shoved him off of you, "You shoved me out of a tree!"

"You kicked my legs from under me!" He countered back, his brown orbs glaring into your before the two of you scowled at each other. He got up before extending his hand out. You looked at him before grabbing onto it and pulling yourself up. You let out a gasp when you felt him snake his arm around your waist.

You glared at him and he did the same, the two of you stare each other down for a moment before you shoved him and walked off, the two of you stayed silent the whole walk home.

"I hate you," You mumbled under your breath, which was an absolute and utter lie in itself. He rolled his eyes hearing you,  "You and I both know you don't lie very well, [Your Name]," You turned around and looked at him shocked. The slight grin that tugged at his lips caught you off guard, "You knew?"

"Yes, for a while now, [Your Name],"
