"Father, Father! Wait up!"

You yelled chasing after your father for about the third time today.

"[Your Name], my dear you must keep up with me. I have no time for your nonsense today. I'm already quite irritated with what you're wearing could you just help me out a bit, love?" He asked raising an eyebrow. You looked down at your blouse, trousers, and boots. You didn't think that there was anything wrong with your outfit. You blew out of your mouth and a lock of your hair fell into your face. You smiled and then moved it back into place. You nodded your hair and your father then smiled while the two of you came to your destination. You smiled widely at all the people who passed by you waving and greeting others cheerfully. Your dad sighed at your behavior and told you to stay put like you were a child. You didn't ask him to drag you to London in the first place.

'I'm 21 years old for christ sakes! I should be able to stay in New York by myself! I don't know why father always bringing  me on his stupid adventures if he wasn't going to allow me to do anything!' Well, actually you do know why your father brought you along.

1. He didn't trust for you to be in New York Alone.

2. Last time he left you alone your mother died and you got an awful scar going through your left eyebrow!

It did make you look tough but it didn't cover your beauty both inside and out. You huffed and slumped down into the chair before thinking.

"If father doesn't know that I left.... I won't get in trouble." You beamed before getting off of the chair. You grabbed your notebook and pencil and snuck out of the building.

Wow! This place is so vast! I could stay here forever!

You placed your pencil in your mouth before rolling up your sleeves. You then put your small notebook in your back pocket and started to scale the building. It wasn't hard for you considering you did it whenever you had the chance to do it. Little did you know you had been followed from all the way from the building. And in fact, your little stalker was quite impressed with your skills considering you got onto the roof in record time. Your father knows his daughter very well. He knew that you would disobey his wishes and go out anyway and so he asked a friend to ensure that you'd be safe. You sat on top of the roof drawing whatever you saw. You've never been so inspired considering your father shunned you for trying to work on your drawings. Before you could even finish signing your name on your drawing, your notebook was snatched from your hands.

"Not bad, not bad at all." He said smugly. You squinted your eyes at him before standing up.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" You hissed. He placed a hand on his chest, he then shrugged and waved you off.

"The real question here is what the hell are you doing up here, child?" That struck a nerve. Your eye twitched before you went off. Keep in mind you have a very colorful vocabulary.

"Child?! You look no older than me! And give that back you have no right to storm into here and steal what's mine!"

"You must not be here considering your accent. How about this, darling? You get off of this roof and let me keep your splendid drawings, I have to say, you are a very skilled artist,  and your father doesn't hear about you leaving." After that, you then lunged at him. You hissed every word in the book at him. When you finally got it back he chuckled at you.

"Robert was right. You're quite the feisty one." You glared at him before rolling your eyes. You then placed your pencil back into your mouth and started to climb down. When you finally got down he came following after you. The two of you walked through the alleyways while he attempted to make small talk with you. When you finally started to listen to him you were actually quite amused by him. The talk was rudely interrupted by someone yelling out at the two of you.

"Frye! You ought to know this is our territory!" The man growled. You laughed at him not knowing how serious the situation was. You placed your notebook down before walking up to the large brute. He reached out for you and pulled you back. You snatched your arm out of his grip and glared at him.

"He looks like he wouldn't hurt a fly." You said before walking over to him. He huffed at you before he swung with you expertly ducked. You grabbed his arm and flipped him over on his back and snapped his arm out of place. He yelled out in pain before you finally knocked him out. You turned around to a shocked man and you smiled at him.

"A girl of my position... needs to protect herself right. Besides, I get into a lot of fights at home. Close your mouth, hun, you'll catch flies." You tapped his cheek and walked away from him.

"Thanks again for watching my daughter, Jacob." You father said before looking at you.

"I hope she wasn't any trouble." You laughed and Jacob did the same.

"Father, when have I ever been the one to cause trouble?"

"Since the day you were born, [Your Name]." He said before walking back into the building. You crossed your arms over your chest and smiled at Jacob before giving him a once over really now noticing how handsome he was.

"I hope I get to see you again, Jacob." You said before waving at him and following in the direction your father did.

"I hope I get to see you again too, [Your Name]."

As [Your Name] slipped away from Jacob's sight he smiled slightly to himself knowing he had met his match considering the two of them were both equal in strength and they're tactics. But he was oblivious to the fact that he had just met a future assassin and as well his wife.
